It’s all on tape at Target, and I actually took a picture of the guys while they stocked because it just seemed weird. Target security is all over it, think they have already identified one of the guys. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. If the product was paid for not sure if they broke any laws, or if Targets recourse is just to 86 them from the store. Crazy times!

Sadly happened in my area. Two different Target's and two different guys. It's honestly easy to pull off. These stores see the guest badge and see them sign in and that's it. A few years ago before the card craze. I worked for a company called RMS for a side hustle. I came and went as I pleased. Nobody asked me anything as I was in the back a lot.

That was happening in some of my local Targets back when I was looking for 2018 Heritage blasters. Some waited for the rep, some had their own staff open them, and some would let you open the Excell boxes yourself.

If they didn’t steal and weren’t caught in the back, informed they were trespassing and told to leave while in store then nothing will happen. Reps are supposed to sign in at CS, few do. Store didn’t follow procedure at the beginning by making them sign in and verify credentials. Past that it was up to security and Target management to catch it while they were in back.

This sucks but if they try it again then they will be 86ed from store at most, unless of course they stole. Unfortunately on the list of things I’d worry about, this ranks far behind: rep being paid off and ensuring certain people get the product and employees getting in the box before rep can put it out. A clean rep is getting really hard to find and in the event the area rep isn’t on the take then there’s a good chance the employees are getting in the box and getting some or all of the best stuff before it’s brought out.

If your Target doesn’t fit into one of these two categories you’re in the extreme minority and now another, albeit far less common, minefield for product making it to the shelves.

I guess one of them was a previous LMS employee and presented a badge. The other one said his was in the car and he’d go get it but never did, at least at one of the stores.

Sounds like once again a refresher is due for Target management and asset protection. They were reminded again no one but the two reps should ever touch the boxes. Target is generally clueless in my experience when it comes to managing the process with the cards/reps. My understanding is the two guys are being trespassed from the local stores.

I do not like this usage of the verb “to trespass”.
Also, get off my lawn you pesky kids!

Could switch to “86’d” if you’d prefer.

Oh I get that language changes, and it’s adopted this new meaning. And living with it is on me.
Now didn’t I tell you kids to get off my lawn!
(Before I try to sale you some bass cards...)

Looks like optic fat packs were loaded but I never received a notification for the blasters. Does not look like the blasters were live.

stock today: Hoops premium megas, playbook megas, contenders blasters, playbook hangers, chrome hangers, chrome megas

No optic or 20-21 hoops so I wonder if they are holding that back until this stuff runs out

Too slow on the west coast to score any blasters, but I picked up 2 chrome megas at least.

Walmart or Target?

If Walmart then that makes sense, they seem to run behind a week or so.

If Target then either employees got in the box or more likely the rep is funneling it to certain people because 100% of Targets were sent some Optic and Hoops 20-21 this week.

Me too. Shocked . Has Target defeated the bots or are the TCU Megas not a good flip?

Looks like they are going for $30-35ish on the secondary market. Not sure I want to hassle with shipping and fees though. Would probably only net $20 on three boxes.

It's a fun rip though so I'll likely do that.

This was a target. I have a feeling they don't put everything out at one time at this one. They had optic fatpacks last week. Haven't seen 20/21 hoops at this one yet. Thinking they may put it out tomorrow. The rep was there so it was not stocked by an employee.
