People just get jealous on social media and hate on someones good luck. It creates an odd stigma around the card. I just find posting about it on social media does more harm than good personally. Its a hard thing to market. "Hey look everyone I won the mega millions. Who wants to pay me the highest price for this ticket, right now?"

Go into the Julio thread where we were talking about the guy who pulled the platinum 1/1 from update. He posted it all over social media saying he wants $100k and now no one wants it from him. Real gangsters move in silence. Also keeping the hype on Sapphire update having people not known the super has been pulled is another positive for him in my eyes. I know I can lock in on products and have blinders on. The longer people have those on, the more people are going to think its the holy grail.

Moved a case at a local card show this past weekend.

Moved 2 of my 3 cases so now I have a "free" case to comfortably sit on. I'm also up $1300 (overall) from the 2 cases. Spent a little of that profit on a couple PC cards at the show too.

Surprised box prices haven’t climbed any in awhile. Really thought these would hit 350-400 by spring training.

Agree. Somehow Bowman Chrome Sapphire is seen as more desirable.

I think the fact that the Julio super auto, all 5 reds, at least half the purples, and Witt super have all been hit temporarily cooled it down. Still think it’ll be fine longterm considering only the Pena isn’t live.

Absolutely! I definitely can’t complain. I think Wander is a hold for now, his stuff can still sky if he gets hot

Difference between a 330 card checklist with 20% studs/80% scrubs and a 200 card checklist with 60% studs/40% scrubs. So yeah, Bowman Chrome Sapphire is a better break and probably more desirable.

This- although the RC apples to apples #'d parallels sell for far less in BCS(prospect-centric)vs TCUS(mlb only)
at least in the players I follow
the flip side is that there are 2 each (RC/RD) of the big rookies in TCUS, even if the RDs are far less desirable

Thank you! I take a lot of pride in assessing condition before I send cards in for grading, so was really happy Sapphire came back all 10s.

As for the Freeman / Pujols: this is the first dodgers Freeman sapphire card and I think (hope) he’s going to build a legacy there, plus he’s Canadian and I’m Canadian, so there’s that. As for Pujols, I think people will remember this last year with the Cards as a seal on his legacy. It’s a great pose, and you can’t beat the aesthetics of Sapphire.

Is Goldin serious with that? What kind of selling method is that? Someone gonna get real hurt. I'm sure there are more high end J Rod guys than other players but man your testing the market cap with this thats for D sure. I guess maybe they all push each other up... idk seems very odd.
