Not at all but he is still priced very high and like Acuna awards like MVP are implemented in these prices, to be honest I’m not hopeful he will be winning MVP anytime soon, the competition will be major in the NL next season, so I’m expecting his prices to go down even more during the offseason.

Very good season for Soto he adds 35-50 batting average points he is right in the MVP mix. Still an outstanding 1st 6 yrs in the MLB.

i am ~satisfied~ with Juannys season. i would have liked to have seen the batting average a little bit higher, but overall pleased

That would mean a complete change of approach with the risk of striking out more, honestly don’t expect things to change as it seems to work well for him.

He had 129 Ks this season most since 2019.

Yes he still had more walks but only by 3.

He was extremely streaky this year felt like.

He might have actually started some kind of change and stopped halfway, he will have a whole offseason to make the adjustments that work for him.

He was hurt till mid August. Just use Aug-today split for a more accurate measuring stick.

He would probably strike out less. Because he is so selective he puts himself in a lot of 2 strike counts. He had 129 strikeouts this year.
