I really want to just get an Escape Campervan and drive my kids through 3-4 National Parks for a week or two.

My youngest is 3 so we have to wait another couple years.

That’s a fair point. I guess I’m just jaded and don’t see oil as “big business” anymore, but you are correct that industry is big and that money flows to Trump.

It’s crazy, in 2010 your 2 largest companies (in terms of market capitalization) were Exxon Mobile ($343B) and PetroChina ($316B).

What a difference a decade makes. Now it’s Apple ($1.5T) and Microsoft ($1.5T). The term “MegaCorp” has a completely different meaning in 2020.

Second, I now have to pass an anti-racist test to prove I’m not racist?

Alright. I think slavery was atrocious. I think the Indian Removal act was one of the lowest points of our nations history. I think every human life has equal value. That of a black woman and an unborn child. That of a Mexican immigrant and a 90 year old white grandfather. I don’t buy into identity politics because they are racist and divisive. I don’t think any one variable of a persons image defines them. I think we as a nation as so far off base in correcting our issues that within a decade we will no longer cease to exist the way we do now.
