I just watched it. Did you? You really think that wasn’t a charge? And you’re telling me that Ingram’s master plan was to drive, then kick it to Zion (who was under the basket), then hope Zion saw Lonzo open for three? Okay.

Absolutely a dumb play by Lonzo. Still not an excuse for Ingram to drive to the basket when you’re down by 3 with like 4 seconds left.

I don't even think Lonzo would've made it either, but still you have to take that shot. Regardless we fought hard against a premier team in the league on the second night of a B2B. Gave ourselves a shot at winning. It's all apart of growth and hopefully the refs will get better from now on. On to the next one.

Crazy because he was the only guy who seemed to be able to knock down a 3 all night.
Made no sense at all.. He didn't even look for the shot.. Scared of the moment

You don't have to bag on one to like the other. You're allowed to like both Ingram and Zion

I think he was more in shock he threw it back to him

I have nothing against Ingram. He made a bad play, and yes that was a charge. Refs do tend to swallow their whistles at those moments, but it technically wasn’t the wrong call to make.

Despite the teams antics, the refrigerator is fully stocked. Back-to-back games:

34/8/6
32/6/5

It was definitely the right call. Ingram knew it too

Ok I'll take you at your word. Just tired of seeing all the Ingram slander recently. He literally clutched up the game this past Sunday for us. All apart of growth, he's only 23.

I agree, I think Ingram’s a great player and I wasn’t trying to pick on him. And honestly there were so many things wrong with that last play, you can point the finger at almost every Pelican who was on the court. Nobody knew what they were doing. I think they were surprised that they actually got the steal and they couldn’t focus and make the right play at the end.

Honestly I think we probably win this game if we have Hart in over Bledsoe. Bledsoe of course bricks the three with 30 seconds left 5 seconds into the shot clock.

I’m a bit confused, I’ll admit I wasn’t following basketball closely from 2007-2014. But why are people saying he is going to get the Lebron treatment in regards to fouls? I’ve never seen anyone get more touch fouls than Lebron called in his favor. Lebron would have had 12 free throws in the second half in zions place

Which is also why Stan probably should've called a timeout

No one says he's going to get the Lebron treatment. They say he's getting the Shaq treatment which is actually a thing. Lebron is a big fat baby.

Gotcha. Thought I saw a comment saying shaq/Lebron treatment. I remember the shaq treatment, 100% get that comparison

Yea kind of a disappointing game but understandable off a B2B. Next 5 are Spurs/Jazz/Bulls/Heat/TWolves. Would be very happy with 3-2 in that stretch.

Zion will be much better than Giannis has ever been!
It took Giannis 4 years to average 20+ pts.
Giannis stats in his Rookie year: 7/4/2
IF Zion can manage to stay healthy, he will be an unstoppable force

Zion was more solid physically at age 7 than Giannis was at age 20.

I like what Im seeing from Zion. Lives up to the Hype. He can only improve going forward. Numbers don’t lie. He drives to the basket as a 20 year old with three defenders on him and nobody can really stop him.

It seems like a lot of the haters have stopped spamming the thread lately....

Zion is undeniably a monster. His biggest enemy is his teammates. Everyone else he steamrolls. I will continue to buy!

4th in PER!!!

It's going to be real hard to get higher than fourth though. A lot of work to do and will take time.

Are his cards bouncing back or he needs to average 40ppg at this point?
