Pistons have to keep intentionally losing. San Antonio and Washington are way too close in the standings. That’s how awful tanking has become in this league.

So that's 28? Tied for longest losing streak in the NBA across seasons. Anyone know what the all time streak in major modern pro sports is? I saw some Japanese baseball team lose 30.

I feel sorry for Pistons fans. It's one thing to have a bad team but think ok we can have something to look forward to. But only thing Pistons fans have is being a Lions fan and hoping you do well in the playoffs.

Chicago Cardinals lost 29 NFL games back in '42-'45.

I believe for pro sports, that's the biggest.

After watching that entire Celtics game, it got me thinking - has there ever been a point in time where the highest paid player in the league was the least important starter on his own team? I know it’s probably not fair to say this after a game where Jaylen Brown didn’t play, but I think Tatum, Porzingis, White, and probably Jrue are all more important to the success of this team. I know it’s not really Brown’s fault and I’m not criticizing the Celtics for making the deal, I just thought it was a good way of pointing out how incredible their starting lineup is. If they can stay healthy, they’re my pick to win the title this year.

One of the Pistons swatted down a late fourth quarter Tatum shot and the Celtics' announcer said "And Nesmith rejects Tatum." A shoutout to the IST quarters.

I thought he'd be able to utilize his frame and speed out the gate to get easy buckets in the NBA similar to Ja, but it just ain't happening.

In other words, along with the lineup change, Pacers have instituted an effective team defense.

and yeah Haliburton finger guns it skipping. Interesting, he is turning into a sharpshooting perimeter and assist guy. He doesn't take it to the rim any longer, as he was getting injured a lot.
