MSG network pulled Walt for Wally on color.

My tears are drowning me where I sit.

Will Harden ever be right again? Or is this the new him? He is awful this year and it seems like more than just "couldn't play much in the offseason"

He has gone from one of the best scorers in history to a liability.

He has gone from one of the best scorers in history to a liability.
- He's always been a defensive liability
- Although he's "only" 32, his high usage rate with the Rockets may mean that his body is more worn down than people would assume.
- His whole game was based on hunting for free throws. Now that the league is cracking down on that, he's down about 5 free throw attempts from his last season in Houston, and defenders are playing him tighter.
- He's so used to being the "alpha" that he doesn't really know how to play as the "beta" to Durant.

For those interested in comparing conference strength, the Nets have now lost at home to both the Warriors and Suns.....

Christian Wood's offensive upside is immense.

Glad to see Spida back on his game tonight. Jazz look like they took the brutal loss last night personally.

He's basically poverty PG13 with a hyperactive thyroid. So smooth and a monster on the boards.

The NO hype was short lived. Back to reality.

Boj still one of my guilty pleasures. Almost criminal how invisible he was early on in his career (yes, bogdan > bojan was once a thing). Straight baller.

Oh, would you look at that... The very next game [when not against the Magic] he goes 2-8 with 5 turnovers.

So, as per my point, it entirely depends who it was against because very little stock should be taken from a performance against the disaster of a franchise that Orlando is right now...

Crazy to see LouWill's falloff the past 3 seasons.

Needs to hand em up and do the Crawford podcast circuit.

From Reddit:

Anthony Davis this season: 16.7% on threes — worst in NBA history by any player with 2+ attempts per game and 20+ games played. 38.3% on midrange — worst in the NBA by any player with 100+ attempts. 33.1% on jumpshots — worst in the NBA by any player with 150+ attempts.

I think right now the West have 3 of the best 4 teams in the league. But I think the East have 4 of the next 5 FWIW.

Not sure if serious or legit tard lmao. What does 'we'll see if he can keep it up' mean? Does that allow for the possibility that the answer is 'no'? Durrrrrrrrrr

You still don't get it?

You got alllll excited about a decent game against probably the worst team in the league (almost certainly second unit wise) when failing to take into account that pretty much everybody does well against them and it doesn't mean a single thing for that person. As evidenced here.
Coby sucks. The Magic suck. Your level of basketball intellect appears to suck, too.
Celebrate that one game against a putrid team if you must, or, you know, write it off as what it was like everyone else would.

What is wrong with him? There are slow starts, then there’s this. Dude makes Reggie Bullock look like an all time free agency steal.

I do not think he enjoy playing the game anymore. Could it be the LeBron effect or the championship hangover? I am noticing a lot of the NBA players appear to be going through the motion or worse have lost sight of the fact they get the opportunity to play a game for a living. There are players that people like simply because of how they play or that enjoy the game.

Curry
Giannis
Luka
Trae
LaMelo
Jokic
Embiid
Ja

I know I missed some of the stars, but these enjoy the game and people enjoy them. I find it amazing how many players have more fun, post LBJ. AD is just not right for some reason.

I don't remember a time with this many legit stars looking so bad to start the season.

yup, right now the West looks real top-heavy and the East looks like it'll be a dogfight for the 6-10 seeds

Kind of adds perspective to how good players still were in the 80s and 90s when they allowed the contact they did and players still shot 50%.
