This guy just spit on two tough splitters and gets a walk.

ends up scoring on a judge homer. exactly the way the yankee brass drew it up.

He misplayed 2 balls. It's only his second game in right field at Yankee Stadium. He seems like the type that will be out there practicing to get better at that.

Getting used to a new stadium makes sense but it’s not his first rodeo and his fielding will remain a problem going forward, not saying it won’t improve but history has shown Soto doesn’t excel in that aspect of the game.

He should be in LF rather than RF in my opinion. Regardless he is known for his bat not his glove.

Once Dominguez returns and Jones gets promoted Soto will be switching up right field with DH duties, assuming he doesn’t leave after the season.
