I posted these pics on Twitter when I posted here. But I'm not trying to use it to bad mouth or shame Topps or anything. That's not what it's for. I'm just trying to better explain the situation to my customers so I link to the twitter pic in message.

I can't control where the tweet goes or is seen after I tweet it. I'm sure Jeff & Andy will help me out. I'll get the message to them done at some point today, I need to find the invoices too in the stack. I need a mental break after I finish the messages to customers. Probably go for a walk to the store for energy drinks and smoke along the way. Need the exercise anyway.

I received my Week 2 return today (8 of 20 Hoskins and 1 of 1 Markakis). Cards had foam spacers on top and bottom and the case was taped shut. This is the first batch of more than 3 that I did not hear them rattling around in the package before opening it.

Seems like 10 or less may be a sweet spot.

Nah, my 2 sets of harper were bad, bottom two and top two cards messed up...mallex smith in middle was perfect

Week 3 returns arrived as well. All look sharp w/ no white showing. 8 or 20 Ohtani's and 1 of 1 JBJ. Same packaging style. No movement whatsoever.

I finally opened my sets after reading all the comments. I bought only two sets weekly and each time all 6 cards came in the same box. Most have chipping on the name plate, a few are off-center, but at least cards had sharp corners. I put the best of each pair in a one-touch for PC, and each remaining set of 3 back in the box for later.

What a shame... and I feel for you TJ... that photo is abysmal.

Could be worse. I'm trying to put a positive spin on it by being the "quality control" guy or something I don't know haha. Plus I like all the Twitter exposure. There's always going to be some customers who don't understand and get angry but overall I think it's more good than bad. And of course once someone has a nice replacement in hand they've been waiting on then they're happy.

With all your issues are you ordering 500-1000 cards again this week?

I got the message on eBay from Jake about the Harper delay. I don't know if it's just for me but he also said once he receives the replacements he would fly to the next Nationals game and get Harper's autograph on one of the cards for me. I tell you what, now that is customer service. He also said he would grab me a Nationals jersey but I said a hat and a shirt would be fine. Man, what a guy!

Just wondering if anyone here has any knowledge on bulk mail rates. I don't expect the front desk guys at my local PO to be very helpful on that.
