If anyone is interested to know if you still get instantly cancelled with multiple orders… you do lol tried for 2 more Absolute baseball after grabbing 2 initially

Maybe if it’s still there tomorrow i might push my luck to see if it works after 24 hours…

Same. I successfully had 2 orders of 4 SC blasters go through. I tried for a 3rd and it was immediately canceled.

I want to make fun of people who rip Score but I rip flagship and will soon rip some Stadium Club blasters so I can’t talk.

I will however make fun of people who rip Draft Pick Contenders. I tested a blaster and that was $22 after tax I’ll never see again.

If Target were going to do it with every product they would have done it today. They are trying to appease people by saying look you can get this product with a RedCard! Of course it’s the product that would sit there the longest of every football and basketball product anyway. Barnes and Noble should also make all in demand product Barnes and Noble Membership card exclusive.

It’s not like 2021 is even that bad of a buy at msrp (in the context of our current card environment )

Contenders draft picks is probably better to flip/hold. The “chance” at a Laurence or fields auto for $22 is a nice lure to sell those.

What in the world is there to test? To see if for the 100th time in a row the in demand products sell out instantly without the RedCard exclusive? Whether they put RedCard exclusive or not on Contenders Draft it was gonna be a slow sell out. If they wanted to do a true test to see how much longer an in demand product took to sell out they should have put the RedCard exclusive on Prizm or Chronicles.

I honestly don’t know what your line of work is, but mine is working for a large .com retail org. you’d never make a switch like that without testing first to see how consumers react, how they convert, etc.

Wondering if contenders actually wasn’t a smart play. Somewhat desirable product. But not crazy like prizm so you can test it without upsetting a good bit of people. It gets the word out so when they release prizm megas as exclusives it would be your own fault for not signing up.

It’s exactly the kind of product I would have picked. You could be ballsy and try Prizm, but I’d really only do 1 maybe 2 products for a test.

It’s a product where you have an established baseline for traffic, conversion, etc, now you can see how red card only impacted that. Not only that, are there any unknown security/bot issues you weren’t aware of with gating it to red card holders. You obviously have to test before just going 100% red card.

And you can bet your ass i applied for a red card this morning lol, probably like a lot of people.

It’s been over 12 hours and Contenders Draft hasn’t sold out. If it doesn’t sell out soon or at at all then it gives Target the excuse of saying they can’t go RedCard only because the products won’t sell out. If they would have picked an in demand product it would have sold out in under 30 minutes.

Not only that but it’s only 3 blasters per RedCard user. So you will only let RedCard users get 3 of the junk but the good stuff you let bots order 10 at a time? Makes sense.
