I was getting almost $300 returns on the four FOTL boxes I opened. Having a hard time hitting $50 returns on normal hobby boxes.

Ultimately, to see $6k we will need a star or two to emerge from the rookie crop. Personally, I am not sure I see a Giannis, Simmons, or Embiid type guy in this class. I do think its a very deep class. However, if someone emerges to have similar hype of the 3 guys above I could see a $6k price tag for a little. I mean look how cheap 13-14 wax was pre Giannis & even 16-17. It only takes one guy for things to sky rocket. The sequence of odds in a hobby case vs. a few loose boxes is also something to consider. Unless you're doing a group break or holding long term. I ultimately have no idea besides a huge 1/1 what you can pull and be close to recouping 70% of your money. Especially, when prices start to settle after the initial wave. |

If I were buying sealed FOTL Prizm at $350-400 and trying to make money, then it would strictly be to hold/sell as sealed (based on my own experience). Despite a lot of boxes being loaded, some were just mediocre. To me, right now, it's not worth the gamble at that price point (if it were pre-sell and I had an opportunity to receive/bust/list before the regular hobby version released, I might gamble then). |

Panini still hasn't refunded my money from the non-order. Will give them another day, then it's phone call #3 + going to talk to my bank. It's a little ridiculous at this point.

I wasted tons of time just trying to place an order, and then on top of that i've now wasted even more time trying to get refunded for something I was charged for that i'm obviously not getting.. it's a bit frustrating to say the least..

I didn't want to create a new thread with all the threads on prizm. Did anyone do the math and figure out roughly how many RC silver prizms there are (per player)? Assuming the vet silvers are in greater quantity.
The reason I ask this is only because I never witnessed breaks before where the focus was not on the autographs. |

Wonder how many sealed cases made it out. I'm guessing less than 50

So I say less then 25. It cannot be more than that with the website issues and people ordering “whatever they can get” so 1, 2, 3 boxes per order. Not a lot out there for sure. Last edited by messier2; 12-04-2017 at 04:53 PM. |

I can confirm via the fulfillment manager that 1,000 boxes were sold and shipped as of today and 600 are allocated for those whose orders were canceled. I had about a 20 minute conversation with her today. She said they are still honoring everyone that had a canceled order but their systems are still suffering from glitches.

![]() Kind of amazing that 37.5% of the total volume was assigned to orders that the system canceled. Someone should bring a tape recorder down to Panini America in Irving and do an "Oral History of 2017 Prizm FOTL". I'd be curious to hear how it all went down. |

Just opened 4 more loose boxes...not as solid as my first 5 but still nice! I think I figured around $1600 in value at first glance when totaling up the bigger hits/ autos/ etc. Nothing FS currently.

I am assuming PSA is probably the best route to go for grading?

I just opened my first box of FOTL i purchased on ebay.
Pulled a Monk silver, Fultz and Dennis Smith Jr base. No one special for shimmers. I was hoping for a Tatum silver but no luck I did end up with a decent hit on one of my autos though
