They received my recent order on 02/15.

Status just changed to "Post Grade Processing" on 02/28.

Not bad SGC.

Wonder how long this stage takes.

In 2023, not by 2023. Please actually read what I type.

Can't say enough positive things about Boca Card Subs. Eric is super fast, super responsive, and it pairs very well with how fast SGC operates right now. From the time my package arrived with him to the time I had the slabs back in my hands was only 17 days.

We can fuss about why SGC makes it so much cheaper to go through a group sub, but within that context, Boca definitely made it completely seamless.

ok thanks for clarifying. I don't think we ever see $12 per from PSA *in* or after 2023--or by 2033 for that matter.

the offer to wager still stands.

13 card/25-30 day standard

Shipped- 2-9
Rec’d- 2-15
Post grading- 3/1
Shipped- 3/2
Rec’d back-

13 cards.
7 10s.
5 9.5s.
1 9

expected all 10s since I only subbed cards I thought would gem. I'm sure they would have at psa but I know sgc grades harder so not too disappointed. they beat the time estimate. overall great experience again

Grades look completely fair to me. The L/R centering on the Bane is not 55/45 centering, which is what a SGC 10 needs. PSA 10's can have 60/40 centering, not SGC. The Herbert has some edge issues, not a perfect cut and some whiting on the edges. Getting a SGC 10 is harder than a PSA 10, what did you expect?

The desmond bane is definitely OC enough to be a 9 or 9.5
Bottom right corner or burrow looks soft and edges arent perfect. Probably wouldnt be excited regardless of grading company on those 2.

People really need to read the grading standards of each company. Looking at the Bane, I would have never sent that to SGC. There was 0.1% chance of that getting a 10 with the centering. That would have been a much better PSA candidate card. The Herbert is actually a tad over graded in my opinion with the corners and edge issues. That is a perfect candidate for SGC because of the centering is really good and SGC weighs that heavier. The Bane could have gotten a PSA 10, but the Herbert would probably be a PSA 9. Knowing the standards is really important for grading. There are certain cards I wouldn't send to PSA, but would to SGC. The opposite is true as well.

Not pictured are two Wander base 9s. Other than that, pretty pleased, especially with the Adley oranges and the Witt blues!

I sent a 5 card order to a group submitter @ $23 each (1325 total cards in the order) that was checked in by SGC on 02/16. All 1325 card images popped last night 03/02, which is just about 10 business days.

Grades were tough, but fair. They're all PC items so not very overly concerned with how they turned out.

results of my 13. I'm sure the scratches on the Haliburton are from scanner glass. the 9.5 is highest grade by all TGCs

SGC is super strict on centering. Which is why I love buying SGC 10’s, but yeah, it can be brutal for submissions… including my own. Those looks like 9.5’s to me, at least when compared to the 9.5’s I’ve received. At least they’re consistent.

I really like SGC over Beckett mainly because of the cases.

At least no matter what grade you get from SGC the cases look uniform because the Label is the same.

Beckett cases have the different color slabs and look horrible. I myself find that Beckett cases although maybe protect the cards the best out of any grading company the beckett cases chip and crack so easy that its really annoying.

Also I find SGC to be the most accurate in their grading.

regarding that last part, i much prefer to buy an SGC 10 (or even BGS) over a PSA because PSA is too lenient on centering. not all PSA 10s are the same, or even close. SGC is cheaper and usually a better condition card.

Until recently your last point was mostly unknown, sadly many more have caught on and driven prices up,for Vintage the games all but up finding SGC slabs at good discount.i have mixed feelings over it to be honest.

The Tuxedo really highlight those cards. They are absolutely beautiful.
Also are we starting g to see a slight shift in people thoughts about SGC AND their ROI. You cannot get the max ROI from a PSA 10 if the cards are stuck in the black hole called their backlog. I am seeing a significant number of SGC YT vids and positive talk about them. It has been interesting g to watch
