Plenty of room for the market to go down. But all this is normal. The market has always and will always go up and down and over the long term will be up. Simply put, currently the market as a whole has more reasons to go down. Kids on here have never known anything but a dart board bull market. Now you’re gonna have to work a bit for your money. I know I come across as a bear in this thread. I’m just a realist who has seen 87, the 90s, dot com bubble, run up then housing bubble then 15 year bull market.

Right but a lot of us (myself included) have “put the money to work” and bought dips that kept on dipping or held positions that did far worse than stayed flat over the last few months.

I track my net worth and I will be lucky to get back to my ath of early November 2021 by the end of this year.

At least my 401k is more conservatively invested and I think I will shuffle things around there today.

Hopefully these cowards won't have another excuse not to raise rates. Hyperinflation here we come.
You can think that (of the margin account thing). You’d be wrong, but that’s ok.

I normally don’t mind your negativity, but you are just plain wrong in this one.

Also, don’t you live in Canada? Why do you care what the fiscal policy of another country is? Do you care what Poland’s fiscal policy is? Or any other country for that matter?

Was down 23k this morning pre market AGAIN - moved some more money over but only able to used up very little before it rebounded again.. down 3k so far. Was hoping to pick up more position @ Google/Msft/Bx but im sure there are more opportunities. Actually took a small position in Soxl and Square - probably will back fire LOL

Crazy day! I’m up 2% in my trading accounts and I don’t think
I will reallocate my 401k today as I previously planned.

Did manage to add some NVDA, SOFI, and SQ close to open today. Honestly wasn’t expecting to see green today.

Do you scale up the market? Your statement is so generalized. Now is a buy window. realize.

The increase in dollar breadth alone the last year should make the market sizzle. alot of people would have to retreat to keep it down. It will be flat for six months, a given. Supply shortages, cogs, transport costs, etc. all up. Arrange your portfolio to commodities, durables, resources, revenues, and profit for inflationary periods.

The Nasdaq was down like 3% this morning and closed at +3.3x% or something. Wonder how people felt selling at the open or in the early AM then sitting by watching.

I was not expecting that one bit lol. Did nothing but take profits on puts. Messed up and scheduled a 9am meeting today

That's almost like my account - down 3.8% pre market to up 3.15% at 4pm. I bought and sold a couple stocks during the day whenever i had a chance but overall was ready to buy in more with some liquidity moved over - was expecting to get more shares over new few days - but let's see what happens! Still a bit early!

Nice SQ bounce after earnings. Up 18% after hours on top of a +7% day. Feel good about accumulating this one.
