The most shocking part of that story is insurance actually paid out!

Lol. Yeah - wasn't quick but got it eventually.
Just happened across that sub a couple days ago and started laughing.

You weren't kidding. I had been trying to keep an eye out for one since you posted. I have no idea why they are so HTF, but I finally found a Holo Pink version.

Agreed. I love my Prizm, Mosaic, etc. parallel as much as the next guy, but these are some of the cards Panini did well.

Kept perusing the thread, and, yeah, the 2022 Photogenic cards are great. Not just for Mahomes. I gather from other threads that “live-action” cards like Lumiance—a brand I love—are not favored. To me, though, the in-game captures are the best. Love the pick up!

Nice! Good for you. I completed the available holo rainbow (Bronze, Teal, Pink - Orange yet to be released) a few weeks ago so I've stopped searching for them, but they were super hard to find. In fact, 2 of the 4 I purchased were listed without noting "holo" anywhere so I had to examine all the "base" listings photos.

Now they're off to grading since I think they'll look awesome in a CGC slab.

Don't think they'll ever be worth a ton of money, but a super rare holo of a first photogenic release has got as good of a chance as anything else under $20. Also love that they're the only shiny version of the photogenics since the numbered versions from hobby are just different foil variations - no holo at all.

-Leo Chenal is fun to watch. He's not the complete package, but he's an athletic freak out there in space. He plays mean too.

Offensively:
-This game was a chess match. The Jaguars defense was very discipline and didn't make a ton of mistakes. They did a better job defending than the Lions, the Chiefs just had less drops.
-I didn't see Mahomes miss many open receivers, and he was very much taking what they were giving him. Save the interception and one smash route to Watson that was risky, he kept making the right decision over and over again. Which is probably why PFF has his ranked #2 among QBs through 2 games this season.
-Mistakes are still an issue. But this week it was penalties and turnovers. To win on the road against a playoff team when you are -2 in turnovers and -10 in penalties, that doesn't happen much. Jags are good, but their are top tier teams that you won't be able to win against if that happens.
-Believe it or not: Jawaan Taylor actually pass protection was pretty good when he wasn't committing penalties. His run blocking not so much.

At the end of the day it was a road win vs a good team. Chiefs out gained them 399 yards to 271. And maybe most importantly, they came out healthy.

I expect a pretty easy victory next week vs the Bears, but hey, you never know in the NFL.
The difference between seeing a football game and truly watching one.

One of the biggest keys of the entire game, Trevor Lawrence was 0-7 in the Red Zone with that cadre of receivers and those extra opportunities provided via turnovers.

Another key, Jamal Agnew was not allowed to affect the game with his returns. Big props to both Butker and Townshend, particularly Tommy's ability to angle his punts and hang them high. Agnew was able to spark multiple scores last season against KC due to his return ability.

I would imagine the Bears' Secondary and lack of quality pass rush depth is going to make Sunday a much more familiar offensive showcase for the Chiefs.

Between the lack of talent on that defense, and the Bears DC resigning mid week, it should be a rough day for them. I'll be interested to see if the defensive gameplan is a total wreck and this game gets ugly, or if the element of surprise of having a new defensive coordinator for the game works in their favor a bit, at least at the start.

From the Chiefs offensive gameplan perspective, it'll be interesting to see what they do. Reid has shown that in games where they are heavily favored that he's not going to show the whole playbook. If they get up early, do they use to game to work on running the ball? Or maybe try to get some younger receivers like Rashee Rice and Justyn Ross going more?

As confident as I want to be in this one (and I pretty confident they'll win), I'm reminded of games like vs. Houston last year where they played down and barely pulled it out.

C'mon 4 more. I saw a blurb before the game saying he's 200 yards away form 25K and 4 TDs from 200. Would be cool to hit them same day, needs 3 TDs now.

Should have been #3, but we'll take 2.

2 down, 2 to go! The 200 yards shouldn't be a problem lol

Hoping for a Chicago TD here, don't want them pulling Mahomes out early

Rice would be a much higher scorer with 3" on his wingspan. Yes, I'm mad.

Mahomes fantasy managers must be hating Rashee Rice right now.

Chiefs and Mahomes fans loving him

Mahomes broke 200 yards and could've/should've had 4 TDS
