Look at JJ Watt and TJ Watt. Their autos look exactly alike. So does the Carr brothers.

If i was a professional athlete i would sign my auto with just a dot. It's fast, easy and eco friendly. One marker would get you through multiple signings. Think how fast you could sign autographs for a crowd of fans.

I would only sign my jock strap or socks that I've worn for a week. That way they can't wash it without losing the auto

The next evolution is fractional 1/1s. Collect all four card pieces to create your 1/1 card.

They will be calmed with helicopter-dropped care packages of Topps cards that will, in addition to Cheetos and Dew, also contain instructions directing them to regional action centers/supply depots where they can be outfitted for the second phase of Plan Armageddon.

This 10000%. Dak's PR will never allow him to take blame, they don't want any damage to his image. When a statement comes out it'll be very similar to this.

This guy has had one good year. Dont get me wrong, it was incredible what he did, and as a rookie to boot made it even better.

However, it is just one good year. His cards are one serious injury away from tanking. As are everyones who are not named Brady.

I hope that does not happen. When the Cowboys play well it is good for the hobby as a whole.

But for him to do this makes it seem like he is too good to sign autos anymore.

We shall see next year just how good he is now that defensive coordinaters have had an entire off season to figure him out and game plan against him.

I wonder what other cards were auto penned at the same time as the Dak Prizm autos. There had to be a few hundred cards in the batch he was signing and not just Prizm. It would be the nice if the NFL was upset about this too, I'm afraid they will be too worried about his image to make any statements.

To all those that said discussions about this issue on the board would be meaningless and fall on deaf ears, I think this proves that we have some power as collectors. Kudos to the member who meantioned this story to the family friend at espn

See the problem here isn't even Dak or Panini. It's us, the consumer. We pay ridiculous prices to gain autographs of players we admire. Time after time Panini has "authentication issues" that make us question what their business practices are and time after time we CONTINUE TO BUY THE PRODUCTS. Panini will not care until they start losing money and unfortunately, that won't happen.

Poopnini fan boys on here seem pretty quiet.

Would people prefer Auto-Penini to Poopnini?
