I’ve actually enjoyed the lag. His prices have risen a bit, but not like SGA after the CP3 news. Just wait until news is announced that he’s good to go. I would do any and all buying before then.

According to the VP of basketball operations a few months ago, his meniscus was 100 percent repaired and he was on pace to return before the start of next season. 3-6 months is apparently the typical window for returning to athletic competition after surgical repair of the meniscus. I’m guessing the Grizz have every intention of having him ready on the earlier side.

Scratch that, just looked at some more news on ESPN and saw where the VP said a few days ago that he’s not going to be available at the very beginning of the season. I’m out of the loop apparently.

Playing it safe. No rush to get back immediately. By mid-season we should see him. Shorter season so rushing would be unwise.

I agree, I’m wondering if when the VP made his initial comments he was planning on the season starting later. Definitely no need to short circuit a promising career by jumping the gun on the return.

Well guards will always be more popular. JJJ is a hack specialist. Once he stops fouling out he will go up more.

Good buy for sure. It is such a good looking card. The one before that went for $75 I think. I have 3 at PSA and a PSA 10 in hand. Still looking for my 2 blues to finish my Blue Bo JJJ. HAVE 18/20. All of them will be in PSA holders. Need Blue Playoff and obsidian.

That was me. I picked up that one and an Optic Choice /88 recently. I told myself I was going to hold off for a bit, but the deals were too good to pass on.

Just heard that team mates are saying that Jx3 grew 2-3 inches during the off-season and is now over 7 feet tall. What!?!

If he grew 3 inches and is now 7’ look out indeed. His defense has never been questioned. Filling out with muscle will make him even more watched.

Just curious, do you just like the blue parallels in general or are you implying that this is the "jersey color" parallel like Luka? Since the blue doesn't exactly match, I've never found the blues to be that much more appealing that any other colored parallel for JJJ.

Also, this is in no way trying to be inflammatory. I appreciate your love for the set; I too think it's the best version of Chronicles and nearly flawlessly executed. In fact, I'm going for the master set (no parallels), so if anybody can help me out, that would be greatly appreciated (shameless plug): https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1306670

I've heard the latest meniscus surgeries add 2-3" to the leg. In all seriousness, I do believe a 20 year old male body is still growing.

Blue IS my favorite color but I also like the way they look compared to the other parallels. Except for the GALA /8, I own 19/20 blues. Just my thing.

Gotcha... if they had added silvers to 2018-19 I think it would have put the set over the top. Good luck finding the last one to make it 20/20.

After I saw the jersey color and Essentials/Prizm/Crusade/Obsidian/Phoenix stuff of Luka starting to blow up, I was smart enough to not sell off the rest of my stash just to get rid of it. Sitting on 70+ chrome cards of guys like Ayton, SGA, Porter Jr., Bagley, Sexton, etc.

Very smart move. Chronicles would have been THE product with Silvers, but the chrome version cards will be the ones to get and hold.

Love the Phoenix and Crusade silvers in 2019-20 Chronicles. Super sharp aesthetically. Shame 2018-19 didn’t have them for sure.
