Honestly, people like him deserve this ridicule only because he comes out here like he's right and his smug know it all attitude (I warned you) is ridiculous. If he said Luka was going to tank in June 2019 and people are sheep buying him then baaaaa baaaaa because I was buying then and his stuff was ridiculously cheap compared to even the tanking going on right now. He obviously doesn't like Luka (still taking shots at him on his last post). People like him throw out millions of garbage takes, ignore the 999,999 wrong one, and come here on beat their chest on the 1 they were right on (which isn't even RIGHT if context is applied apparently).

Not calling you out but since you bought a bunch of sub-$50 holos and silvers did you:

A) Sell
B) Buy anything after June 1st, 2019?

Because if people bought pre-2019 AS WELL AS post Covid, they're probably down overall. Not saying you, but it wouldn't be that big of a stretch because the losses from peak Luka to now are greater than the gains from basement Luka to now.

If you bought a Lebron Chrome RC for $3K, you'd be up roughly $12K (PSA 10). If you also bought one in the $30K range to add another when it was running, you'd be down overall even though you bought one for $3K.

We all make mistakes, can have dumb takes, but trying to take false credit especially for very wrong takes, ie taking no accountability, takes some nerve and the smugness/arrogance is hilarious. So the internet forum beatdown is somewhat invited by such mindbending arrogance. Plus it's hard to hide from the Luka army which is pretty strong haha.

Haha, no worries. Personally, I sold a few high dollar Luka cards in the fall of 2019, spring of 2020, and early 2021. Those sales easily put me the green for my entire card hobby (and paid for a car and a doula).

I'm talking specifically if people listened to that podcast in April 2019 and decided to do the OPPOSITE immediately after (or really anytime April 2019 - Feb 2020), they'd be up thousands even if they sold everything today. If they chose to do what the podcast said, they'd be at 0, or, worse, had purchased Lonzo Ball or KP cards.

That to me is not worth a victory lap. Especially considering Luka is easily the frontrunner for the next face of the league for a decade once LeBron hangs it up.
