Two of my favorite cards from this set are the John Kruk and David Ortiz cards. They both represent amazing moments that I remember watching in real time. I'm just now getting back into the Hobby, so I'm curious if there are cards from other years that are similarly nostalgic? I'd like to create a little PC of these types of cards that may not be that valuable, but represent amazing moments in baseball history

I bought one blaster at WM yesterday, and pulled the Gold Minted version of that Ortiz. I was quite happy.

Probably depends on how much baseball you've watched over the years and how many of those moments you remember. Stadium Club is chock full of them though. I like buying the refractor parallels of a lot of those cards.

Couldn't help myself, ripped 2 more hobby boxes.

Nothing super crazy but still a fun rip.

Notables:

- Barry Zito auto /50
- Machado gold minted
- RC autos of Otto Lopez, Oliver Ortega and Anthony Bender
- Chromes of Randy Johnson, Jack Flagherty and Xanger Bogaerts
- Black foil of Randy Johnson and Reid Detmers
- Red foil of Oneil Cruz

Default Stadium Club pushed back???

Has anyone been checking for photo variations? I’ve been averaging about 1 a hobby box. Don’t recall variations in prior years, I could have easily just ignored them though and not realized it. So far I’ve found three:

There’s definitely been photo variations in past years.

Good to know, I've definitely over looked those then.

Wow - 1/hobby is an amazing hit rate… they are generally much rarer than that

Print run for each card of ~200

I've bought 3 hobby boxes and several blasters and haven't been very lucky with pulls this year. Best have been a Kerry Wood auto and a Yepez Rookie design variation. No refractors and no numbered cards.
I put together a Stadium Club set every year and I'm several cards short this year.
Anybody sitting on a lot of dupes care to help me out?
If so, shoot me a message and I'll give you a list of my needs. Not putting the insert sets together this year and if anyone is, hit me up.

Picked up a couple more boxes over the last week. Stadium Club has been pretty good to me this year.

First box

Second box

3rd box was kinda a dud, but cool Griffey variation

Very nice. That Acuna is great and one of his better-looking signatures I've seen

I assume the card on the right is a black and white, and the one on the left is a sepia, right?
I wish Topps would change the foil color on one of these parallels.

I once picked up a gold minted card that someone thought was a Sepia parallel, lol. I guess I don't mind if it's hard to tell things apart.

Am wondering why this Corbin Burnes refractor shows the Topps Signature disclaimer. He is not on the autograph list

I think we’ve assessed that *ALL* the refractor parallels ended up with this language

They put that verbiage on the refractors instead of “refractor” it’s madness

He does have a chrome auto by the way, I pulled it.

Don't have any pack wrappers to confirm, but I think they were 1:8 in previous years. Maybe see if you still have the wrapper if you just pulled it?

I pulled it a month ago and there weren’t odds on the wrapper or box.

I don't know the odds, but I can tell you I've opened 3 hobby boxes and 3-4 blasters and I have a total of 7 Sepia's.
