They do not have however a Nesmith on fire and the resilience that instills in crew.
Also the Pacers have been playing a legit 10 man rotation. I think most of the starters played no more than 26 minutes last game. Mathurin was on the bench, as Walker was the game before. When asked about it Carlisle said something like "oh Benn said he didnt sleep well last night."

Indiana will be better than Miami... I think they get 1 game vs the Cavs.

Wow would you lay a Mobley rarity on the line for a Nesmith rarity as a little wager? Gold or better.

So no Cavs starters played more than 25 minutes in the last game...
So you're literally just making stuff up without even pretending to know what you are talking about Cavs are going to smoke them Just accept. It will be easier for you

He'd probably be the 3rd guy off our bench, somewhere behind Deandre Hunter and in front of Sam Merrill.

I don't own a single card of either. I also don't have any reason to wager on either team... I was just stating my opinion on the series.

I want action.

The biggest upset in the East will be if anybody takes more than a game off of either the Cavs or Celtics before they clash in the conference finals.
But the media is salivating over the possibility of a Celtics-Knicks series just because of the historical sports rivalry between those two cities, despite the fact that it should be a pretty one-sided series. All the most interesting series are in the West because of how close the #2-#7 seeds are... |

Do people realize that the Pacers record was 20-9 after the All Star Break? During which time they jumped from 7th to 4th?
Cavs went 20-8, essentially the same. You can talk injuries all you want, but Giannis and Bucks were on fire heading into first round (19-10 after All Star break). Heat went 12-17 in the same period. Pacers faced a far more formidable foe.

If the Pacers win against the Cavs, with those metrics and that prediction (you are quoting lifetime stats BTW, Nesmith has skyrocketed since AS break) then the two players will be even. Because Double A will be square in the discussion as the Pacers' head to ECF for second year in a row.
So basically I would put equivalent Nesmith against equivalent Mobley, with the caveat that the huuge underdog must advance. I would even be willing to have a caveat that playing time for both starters must be something similar and efficiencies in the ballpark, for bet to hold. I know 25 seems over the hill compared to 23, but come on.

I have an Issac Okoro I'll put up against Nesmith. Much closer level player.

I don't disagree that Okoro is a beast.
Difference is, if Cavs win behind Okoro's effort he will be the 5th or 6th fiddle, while Nesmith would be top 3 or 4 in a Pacers' victory. I would decline a straight up trade. But for the sake of a fun series-watching proposition, maybe we can do it. What's the best Okoro you are willing to put up?

Basically some podcast noted that they had limited Nesmith's minutes in that win and I thought they were referring to whole team. Usually he is up there.

What do you mean? I am just saying Nesmith has a higher relative rank within the Pacers' system. Some say he is second behind Haliburton, though many put Pascal above Ty and Nembhard has his ardent supporters as well.
Okoro is not even a starter, he is probably better than Mathurin, but that level. Mathurin is valued above Nesmith monetarily, but that is just hobby logic. Rungoodlife has a platform, not Nomad. Oh and until recently, Nesmith hadn't had a card for years.

Pacers don’t have anywhere near the starters, or rotation, of Cleveland Which is fine. You’ll get better next year

I feel confident in saying that Durant has been in the league long enough to say that he's an elite scorer, but not an elite player. Houston has as actual team who just needs that one piece. The Suns are cooked. Sent from my motorola razr 2024 using Tapatalk

But so many teams have traded team cohesion and young legs for vet leadership and seen it fall apart. What equivalent could Rockets offer?

Any conclusions drawn from a series against this dumpsterfire of a Bucks roster is only going to lead you to heartbreak, Nomad.

Bucks would have swept Heat for what it's worth.
