I still have a red pack of the original prizm basketball drop from when the platform launched. Can I sell it? Is there a place on the app to se what others have sold for? Logged in for the first time in a looong time and have dozens of $1 offers on singles like a lot of other people in here

The Red Debut pack? You can sell it, yes. Last two sold did 9.99k and 9.5k.

If I'm seeing it correctly, a Caitlin Clark 1/1 Green Kaboom sold for $175k today. Would the physical version even sell for that

Other than packs is there a reason there is renewed interest? I've been sitting on the 2020 prizm Luka blue circles 77/99 (jersey number) since release. I hadn't got decent offers for ages but today I got one for 3k and then another for 3.5k. Tempted to sell but I don't like buying/selling when I dont understand what is driving the demand.

There is a spending challenge happening currently (I wasn't aware of it either) that is driving a lot of this. Our painter friend posted about it a couple pages back. There are rewards/packs given to the top spenders based on tiers.

3.5k seems like a good offer. List it for sale with a higher buy it now and see what other offers you get. But the challenge I spoke of above apparently ends Sept 15 so the clock is ticking

How do I list my Debut pack? I am afraid I’ll accidentally open it if I click on it.
Also how does payout work. I’ll look back in the thread to check if it’s been discussed. After logging in I see I have hundreds of offers for ‘cards’ I couldn’t give away a year ago (mostly $1 but that adds up)

Yeah, post it a bit higher. That offer is from maybe the biggest whale on the platform.

Easy as can be to post it. Practice posting a cheaper pack first. Payout to Paypal or crypto.

The unlimited $1 offers are for people looking to burn the cards for craft points.

If you go to your profile there will be a drop down for "Unopened Packs". Click on the pack and it will bring up the information including (likely) what you bought it for. There's a button that says "Actions" in that line that if you click it should give you the option to list it for sale. Then you pick your price and list it. Panini will take their 5% commission if it sells of course

Spend challenge is driving alot of this as well as funny money.

The licenses are ending and with Top Shot on the decline most of the guys buying have either no clue about sports cards and just following the hype. Either way the primary buyer on that platform is Spinotron.

There are so many alternate accounts on that platform, who knows could be Panini driving this to show value.

I guess will find out in 10 years time what the true story is when the documentary airs on Netflix.

Don't buy the packs for 100 points. Save them for now. Unless you want to completely leave the platform. In that case: buy the 2022 Prizm NBA packs for 100 points, then sell them all for $15 each.

And yes, it's a miracle you got one pack. That release was very very difficult with lots of website issues. I whiffed on the Red Debut release but hit the Green Ice Debut pack release.

Correct. Thats why prices for these are insane. In comparison, the Green Ice Debut packs with cards limited to /2 vs the Red Debut limited to /3, are way way less value at only about $1300 or so - theres almost nothing left in them.

I have a base complete set of the original 2020-21 Prizm basketball. Are they ever going to do something with staking? That's why I compiled it back in the day, but at this point it's just drowning me in $1 offers.

No. Sell the Lebron/Curry/big names and burn or sell the rest. Base Lebron is a $50 card for normal serial #'s.
