Well, looks like I got a good deal on my 2011 Prime Cuts a few months ago. Another PSA 8 ended for over $1800 tonight. Wowzer.

Yes you did. I told you I would of immediately hit that $700 BIN button if I saw it first. Haha. That 2011 Prime Cuts is extremely rare and does not pop on eBay often.

Not to out him but I bet it was Reggie that bought it. The one who won has 598 feedback just like him.

Well if it was you that picked it up, Reggie, congrats! I know you’ve been after one too for your Trout base rookie collection.

Really glad mine snuck past you. Won’t let my frugalness get in the way of a good deal next time and will just hit the BIN!

Not bad at all for the Trout Target Red. The guy that bought the GMA 9 red for $5K is about get a nice flip in return when he grades it with BGS and gets a minimum grade of 9. I was this close to buying that GMA 9 buy it now price of 5K but my brain stopped me.

Haha. Thanks! It was me. I was going to post it when it arrived.

I really wanted it bad. I admit, when I dropped my bid with 3 seconds left, I was almost in shock at how much I won it for. Oh well. It completes my 2011 Mike Trout “Base” RC collection. I knew this auction wasn’t going to end cheap.. but I didn’t know it would end that high.. lol.

The BGS 9 did not look like a PSA 9. A PSA 8.5 IMO. Which is not a $7k+ card right now.

Trim this BGS 9 and you have a BGS 9.5, maybe even a PSA 10.

I figured it was someone here after all the chatter of people wanting it. You were the first I checked. I would have checked a couple others who messaged me about mine.(still nfs)

Wow... that's crazy it went for so much. Maybe this is the new norm

Now that the base collection is complete, what's next?

Feels like you are 100% certain this is getting trimmed. I would assume it's getting bought for a collection but wanted a decent price.

I was watching that one too. The card looked fine condition-wise. My big fear with cards graded GMA and the like is that they have have the reputation of grading trimmed cards more frequently than the big guys. Scared me off. Solid buy assuming that's not the case though.

Haha. She wasn’t too happy when I told her I won it for a lot more than I thought it would end.

Lol this is amazing. To avoid this...I tell my wife... "it cost this much but I'm paying for it with all the overtime I worked, so its technically a free card, since the overtime money was extra money and the card was paid with that extra money." She then forgets about the price of the card.

Glad I'm not married. Don't have to deal with all this kind of stuff. I don't have to explain to my three boys how much I spent.

That Red Auto Tristar Trout that ended tonight end up going for double what the blue auto went for. Both #d to 25. I won the blue but didn't expect the big difference. Didn't manage to get my last bid in. I expected 500-600 after the blue went for $425

What do others think of this card? Is it authentic?

Authentic for sure. Look at his feedback on prior sales. It's a bunch of Topps stuff up to and including 2011. Probably a guy who used to collect, and was lucky enough to hit this back in the day.

Pay the $500 or $1000 to get it graded on a 1 business day turnaround with PSA the moment you receive it, and you should be protected.

Thanks. I asked the seller to show me the top two bidders feedback score and they look little suspicious to me, one with 14 feedback and the other with zero feedback.
