Not undeniable evidence like the matching scanner photos but once again, if you look at the previous usernames of kingofswing97
https://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...=kingofswing97

Just a coincidence, that this was in the Dallas area?

WEBKINZ NATION
5142 N Jupiter Rd, Garland, TX 75044

More research is needed.

Don't trying to derail the thread here, but on a side note, who the eff would want a Lavar Ball superfractor? That guy is a stain...

Today that address is a martial arts academy. However, Webkinz were once sold at Marsha's Art & Frame which once occupied the same location:

Here is the archived version of the now-defunct website. Marsha's sold trading cards and autographs as well as Webkinz. The contact person's first name was Adam:

Live shot of Leaf Headquarters.

Maybe someone can PM Brian Gray to get his latest whining about how long this thread is. Another day, another bombshell, great work as always!

Nice teamwork.

I directly asked Brain, if Leaf had other eBay accounts, after linking the nogumjustcards back to him.
Thanks for the speaking the truth Brian. Not surprised, just disappointed.

Maybe they just use the scanner at Leaf HQ and list them on their own accounts?

  • Are these cards being given to employees like Joe and Adam in lieu of cash bonuses?
  • Are these cards being purchased by said employees as singles or in packs/boxes?
  • Is a percentage of the final realized eBay sale price of these cards sent back to Leaf?
  • Are the eBay accounts Eeobe08, LBJ2016, and Fanaticinvestments also run by Leaf company employees in the same way nogumjustcards, wjc75056, and kingofswing97 are?

These are some of the questions that are raised by this latest discovery.

What speaks volumes to me is this...

If what Brian said was true (giving benefit to doubt-which is running out) about these cards being leftovers from bonus packs at the national, then it means that LEAF had bad enough sales vs. expectations that 90% of this giveaway bonus was leftover and sold to employees.

The majority of people buying the product are its own employees?

This could be its own thread.

Dan great stuff sir! It sucks because I get excited every year when Leaf Metal Draft football comes out, but after all this I might just sell all my Leaf Husky collection and be done with them.

Seems like Leaf employees are the company's biggest customers. Surely a company cant last long like that.

"We gave away a little more than half the packs that were made. On the Sunday of the show, we sold the remaining packs to a number of people including Tom Fish from Blowout, Joe and more. At least 10 different dealers were offered the chance to buy remaining packs BEFORE Joe was allowed to buy the remaining after those guys took what they wanted." - LEAF (BG)

Yet, two (that we know of SO far) LEAF employees, Joe and Adam, ended up with 55% of the best cards in the packs...
