Haaland will go where ever Mino is paid the most to facilitate the transfer.

It's Why Juve famously bought Kuluslevski over Erling last winter...according to italian media at least.

The total cost of the transfer would of been double just to facilitate Minos asking fee.
Even though it is reported Borrussia got Haaland for a steal of 40mill, they more than likely paid Mino Raiola the same amount.

The Mino Raiola's and Jorge Mendes of the Soccer world are only getting more power and influence sadly.

This doesn't belong in this thread but posting here instead of creating a new one;

how do you European soccer collectors grade your cards? Send directly to PSA/BGS in the US yourselves or is there a "european" branch of these companies that can receive cards and then bulk ship to USA?

There are two authorised PSA dealers here in Europe, Ludkins and Graded Gem along with other smaller groups running services. They run bulk, standard and express levels with prices including shipping, insurance and customs. For those outside the UK it might be a little more complicated now as there are customs between the UK and the EU. I don't know of any equivalent for BGS or SGC, I think for those people usually use a US agent and a US mailbox .

There were rumours about having one this year. Hope the next release are like the first one with match worn jerseys and on card autos.

Thanks David - just contacted the "agent" here in Norway now and this seems to be the way to go!

Opened a box of Immaculate. Got a Mbappe base but was looking like maybe the worst box of anything I've ever opened. Thick card was a Tim Howard glove/75. Got a goalie auto, meh. Only 2 autos in this garbage?

Leo Messi auto/jersey /10, thank you very much!

Sounds like I missed the peak, but digging out my 2014 WC set and dupes. Found a working set with all the biggies, now to locate any bulk to see if I have more of them.

Bought a complete set after release, now can't find it. Moved in the interim but would not have thrown it out. Wonder if I gave it to someone...

Quite a few very interesting vintage sales last night:

1965-66 Gerd Müller Rookie PSA 2 $1,425
1959 Heinerle F. Puskas PSA 3 $400
1959 Heinerle Jaschin SGC 3 $400
1966 Sicker World Cup Pele PSA 8 $3,638
1966 Sicker World Cup Pele SGC 6 $986

And probably a lot more that I did not watch

A few more that I was watching...

1932 Bulgaria Sport Sindelar PSA 6.5 $530
1946 Monte Cudine Discs Alfredo Di Stefano Rookie PSA 2 $7800
1955 Vecchi Idolos do Futebol Garrincha Rookie PSA 5 $19000
1964 Barratt A12 George Best Rookie PSA 4 $3768
1994 Panini Calciatori Totti Rookie PSA 9 $2275
1999 Mundicromo Liga Xavi Rookie PSA 9 $1247
2004 Mundicromo Liga Ramos Rookie PSA 9 $1525
2010 Panini Belgium De Bruyne Rookie PSA 9 $3050 (!)

That De Bruyne really threw me off. Its the "overprinted" #153 insert too, still no high grade #163 base copies out there. Totti has been long overdue a bump, good to get a fresh price on him too.

The biggest Maradona card, the PSA 7 1977 Futbol disc is on Goldins (pop 3, none higher). He's kind of been left out of the headlines pricewise as none of his marquee pieces have been up recently but that's about to change. Already $56k, it'll be interesting to see how high it can get.

$829 for Man Utd in Prizm 4 box breaks? Breakers are rolling in money with these prices. I thought I would be able to get at least 1 United break, too pricey for me.

2018 Prizm Mbappe Blue /199 PSA 10 $15k

I too have been made fun of on more than several occasions for buying soccer cards in the past. All it did was made me buy more.

Chooo chooo!

The Haaland sale should draw some attention. Will push Mbappe higher, who will then push Messi and Ronaldo higher. Get ready.
