Thanks for that - trying to combine orders and work through shipping and it's impossible to do seemingly in the new version.

New format hit me just now. I really want to make someone at at EBAY have to use their dental plans for some new teeth for continuing to mess with the CODE because they do not know it.

I don't have any listings ending today, which is rare, but I'm not seeing the link to automatically take me to all of my listings that are ending today; which you would find under Listings, on the main page. Now it just says "auctions ending today".

Is anyone seeing that on theirs?

I had the same issue. You will have to go to Active Listings -> All Filters to find them.

This week was my biggest week for sales since October. If PSA wasn't backed up, I would have another 200 graded cards listed right now. Tax refunds must be hitting.

My graded seems to have been moving slow. I try not to overprice my stuff and try to grade guys who are either HOF already or who are well liked in the hobby. Also a lot of baseball so I am hoping with baseball starting up it will push people to buy.

I have almost 1500 more listings then I had 2 and a half years ago and I was averaging more $3600 (475 items) a month to 2023 $2800 (432 items) to 2024 $1400 a month (370 items).
I do not have the money to bust cases like I once did and it took me the end of 2023 and 2024 to be buying up lots of low numbered items and autos to change my selling format. Since my buddy also sold his shop I am no longer able to get some of his quick flips I used to get. So it means I have to look at other avenues.
Getting the new scanner will be the big game changer to add more inventory with my push to have 20000 items by the end of the year. My big concern is the ESE going up in price at the end of July, but we can always hope to get thru the year without it. Would be nice.

Is it just me or does low-end basketball not sell? I do really well with $2-$5 baseball, but I have a bunch of $2-$5 basketball stuff and it barely moves. Even the big names and refractors/parallels

Sorry to quote this old post, but it's actually a bad system. I would rather be able to hit people with false positive feedback and/or non-payer strikes. A couple weeks ago, a guy sent two offers, first one for 540, second card for 510. Rather than counter both to the same amount, I accept both and he only pays for the 510. I have automatic feedback set up so he gets a positive feedback from me and no negative repercussion

No, you're right - when it does move, seems to have the most "issues" as well. Vintage (well, pretty much all pre-90s) seems to be the exact opposite though, so that's nice

The basketball market took a huge crash after covid. Just a theory but I think so many people lost so much money that basketball isn't really even looked at anymore. The same kind of cards and caliber of players in Baseball and Football do sell much better.

Basketball used to be such a secondary sport that outside of Jordan and Lebron no one was worth anything. In the years going up to Covid, it changed. People loved Prizm and all that. It got hot and then obviously when the bubble burst, basketball was stood holding the bag more than anything. I look at what I have listed on eBay and what does not move is basketball. I get wins every once in a while, but it is just so much harder to move. I just think it is a combination of the explanation you gave, but also it just is not as popular as the other two main sports in terms of the hobby.

The only reason February isn't my best month ever is its length. If this were a Leap Year it would have been #1.

Despite the one less day, dollars are up 83% vs February, 2024 and still up 16% over what was a very strong January, 2025.

Items sold showed more modest gains of 32% vs last year and 6% vs January. That means $/package is up 32% vs last year.

This is all in the face of an average daily inventory that was 7% lower than last year, although it was 8% higher than January. Peak inventory was February 7th, over 10% less than last year's peak inventory on February 28th.

The week ending March 4, 2025 is my highest grossing week ever. That same week is my highest four week run as well, beating the previous high set last week. The week ending March 11, 2025 is off to a gangbusters start, so you'll likely get another record breaking update a week from now.

A rare occurance for me...I blocked two today.

One was a PBM using a different account. I recognize the address because they live 5 miles away from me. I banned them because they filed an INR on 3 out of 5 orders...all single cards ordered separately. What do the two that didn't get filed have in common? They showed a delivery scan. What do the other three have in common? No delivery scan.

The second started bugging me yesterday about a GA packages that was shipped on the 26th...of February in case anybody was wondering. I told them it was in transit, not too far from their place. Then they demanded a refumd and opened an INR. As expected the package arrived today and our relationship is terminated.

ETA: That one buyer is responsible for 3 of my 5 INR refunds issued since October. There is no doubt this buyer is abusing the system.

Right before the start of the pandemic the Sneakerheads got into basketball heavy this pushed the retail hype because hobby shot thru the roof. The sneakerheads were already used to waiting in lines they had no problem staking out Walmarts and Targets hoarding all the retail making a bigger hype. That is just an observation I saw happening.

Sounds like "besautographs". He did the same crap to me and I finally got tired of him, blocked him and reported him as an abusive buyer.

Yes, and a notorious abuser of INR. He's been on my blocked list for a while after abusing claims.

Yeah, besautographs tried to get me, but I was saved by using parcels.app. Spoke to rep about this user, said they should be banned and charged with mail fraud.
