With the global uncertainty and political infighting do you think the CPI and jobs report will be relevant to even move the needle as much as it usually would?

It should move it but not sure how much in either direction at this point but my bias would be down

Then a full day of Fed speakers which should also move the market if the say the right/wrong things

Under normal circumstances you’d imagine the fed speakers would be careful with their words but now who knows. So much more room to fall. The market multiple is still relatively high.

Don't really care what the market does

More so just looking to get my entries on some stocks/ETF's/MF's so I'd love to see a drop

AMD 70/60 area (possibly 50)

MSFT 333/335 is still the idea

TSLA 197/200 long standing target

META 450/460 test if market sells of into Friday

NFLX should break 850 and continue into abyss

Then ETF's/Mutual Funds

Basing it off of being in bear market territory

20% bear market pull back, I think SPX should test closer to 4600 area

So I'm calculating from 4600 as a starting point

SPX 10% correction from 4600 would be about 4200 give or take and 20% would be about 3680 area

If that happens I will dump 90% of my free cash into stocks/ETF's/MF's I've been watching

On the flip side, if the market pumps and I miss out on some entries I'm already in positions from Fri and Mon so it's a win/win for me either way

I know buying doesn’t sound right in this environment, but technically, a bit more upside would make sense right now

Inflation data ahead tomorrow and Friday, with FOMC Minutes later today

Thought about buying some long duration calls but I’m going to hold off. A lot of downside risk right now. Closed an nvidia call yesterday during the morning bounce.

Large selling of puts in the flow/dealer positions keeping the market pinned in this range (5000ish SPX / 500 SPY)

Waiting to see large buying

In the mean time 4900 is getting a lot of attention too. Might act like a pin or a magnet as well if 5000 is lost

Got these just in case of any announcements or they decide to make this area the bottom

But there is a long way down if they want to keep selling off

Wish I had done a few more long call options this morning, of course. Who knew?

Did add a couple hundred shares that touched their 10 year low mark this morning that had been on my watch list.

People will let their TDS influence their view on this, but this seems to have been perfectly played out by Trump and team. Stupid China falls for the trap. Only country to do so.

Had my biggest day this year so far

The large selling of puts signaled they were going to launch it

They were selling puts above where the market was (expensive)

Which is why I was waiting on bigger buying and got in some positions

They tried to throw flow off with the cheap 4900P's

They definitely had a heads up about the announcement

That's true, you don't know but the market gives signs

Hindsight - but you were far enough out that they would have had a chance to play out since we knew this "crash" wasn't going to be happening too long (that was the expectation anyways)

It's the weeklys that people get crushed on

Yeah, never understood why people messed with those. I like the time value of the long call. aapl has been great for those—-negative media attention, stock goes down, ((buy call)) appl reports they sold xxxx number of phones, stock bumps ((sell close)). Rinse and repeat
