Probably jinxing it by posting in here, but I had two orders during the public drop, one from my normal account and another from a second account using my work email. No cancellation email for either yet.

Why doesn't Topps just announce something? "Hey, we made a mistake and are cancelling the orders for Sapphire that were placed on such and such a date or between such and such a time..."

Instead, ppl have to just wait not knowing whether charges will stick, orders will be fulfilled, etc...

It's funny how when you buy something from Topps, the money gets deducted immediately, but refunds take 3 days to process

i’ve been curious how that works. at the company i work for we don’t take the money from your account until we ship + an allowance for transit time. I always thought that was required. Topps though as you said will take your money and ship a month later.

I believe it’s based on the practice/policy of the merchant. So your company and many companies do not charge until the item has shipped. Topps on the other hand…

We should all file thousands of chargebacks. That'd be fun for Topps to deal with. It'd be very costly for them, I think.

what a debacle. not only do we not get any product, we have funds/credit tied up for extended period of time. I agree with asian, topps just couldn't announce a mistake a refund all orders? this company is just mind boggling.
