I'm the troll? Listen kid, you should never be so emotionally and financially invested in a player to the point where you lash out at perceived shots of the player. It's clear you're balls deep into Trae but keep in mind that this forum represents only a sliver of the hobby's community. Even if people were to trash a player, it's not gona cause his cards to nose-dive as some members here would lead you to believe.

Haven't bought a single Trae Young card since 2019 and everything I have purchased is currently up 3-10x from where I bought it (not that I'm looking to sell anything anytime soon).

Trae cards probably represent less than 1% of my total sports card portfolio, but seeing as you clearly don't mind being wrong we can add this to the list of things you were incorrect about.

Nice job on your Chargers winning that division this year!

Suurree, even if that were true, you should have sold in the first quarter of last year when singles were at their peaks or during the playoffs like I did for most of my Traes. And I highly doubt Trae's cards are less than 1% of your portfolio; your actions speak otherwise

I don't "pump" Trae for any financial gain. I do it because I like him and the team. Can't imagine a scenario where I'd ever move most of my Trae stuff anyways so IDGAF about trying to sell at peak or whatever.

I don't let the cards I have effect what I say on these boards. I have way more high end Luka cards than anyone else, but when someone says something dumb like they think Dallas is going to finish with a better record this year than Memphis, I'll call it out for being a horrible take.

Anyone who voices opinions on here for the sole purpose of trying to raise their player's pricing is a special kind of pathetic. Unless you need that money to eat or support your family that's a really sad thing to do.

If Hawks can carry on the rest of the year like they did the past 9 games, he will get his votes. Was just looking at the 4 year totals for him and Luka. Hello all, Trae has been playing amazing this year. I am pump for tonights all-star game 3 point competition and tomorrow him being part of the all-star starters for team Durant. His relative low sport card prices do not reflect yet how great a player he continues to be, improving more with time. I wanted to share a few of my most recent non-rookie pickups.

First, I have been lucky enough to grab 3 of the most important 2021 Panini Immaculate Trae cards in the set. The game used patch auto to jersey number /11, the gold to /10, and the 1/1 laundry tag. These acetate cards are just gorgeous in person!







Grabbed this National Treasures clutch factor Gold to /10 with a great matching red-yellow patch perfectly aligned.


Because of the beautiful letter A patch, I decided to get this Impeccable Elegance to /5.



I will post a few more later. Has anyone else gotten any cool Trae recently?

Big time. Both really nice cards. Between the softened market on a lot of newer stuff lately and sentiment being down on Trae due to Atlanta's mediocre record, now seems like a good time to be scooping up his stuff if that's your flavor.

Just look at his career progression and his age. His time is due (eventually), especially with the way guys bounce around and team up anymore. Just might be a couple more year. I think he's in Luka's shadow having been from the same draft class and being the guy Luka was traded for, but there's plenty of room. Just look at Lebron, KD, Giannis, Curry, and Luka. There's enough shine to go around.

I just got a couple Traes back from grading that I'll post up shortly.

I'm a Ja guy but grabbed a couple Traes at current prices as well. He is an elite talent and still getting better so it seemed like a no brainer. Can't see them going much lower if he stays healthy.
