People will finally digest his amazing career numbers.

And be in awe at what he is doing at the age of 70.

So in 5 years you think his cards will start going up in value? Easy pass for me...will stick to Ohtani and Judge for now.

He’s a long term hold, kind of like Bryce Harper.

Players that start getting close to 400 career hrs at a relatively young age on teams that get no attention behave that way.

Don’t pass for too long - prices might start moving before you have time to buy in!

I do agree, he is a hold. I have a decent size Soto collection that I am holding. Just not adding at this time. With the way Ohtani and Judge dominate the hobby right now I just don't see prices moving unless Soto puts up numbers like Ohtani and Judge.

I guess if your goal is to make money I agree with you. It also depends on when you bought in on these guys.

When it comes to Ohtani I think his market demand is going to keep on rising for a very long time. RC autos are at peak pricing...but many other RC cards are not at all time highs. To me Ohtani is a hold and a buy if you can find deals.
