Seems like it's gone pretty unnoticed that Luka just tied Jordan's record for consecutive games with 20/5/5 at 18. Funny that at this point, 20/5/5 is a bad night for Luka.

I think a lot of people have let it go unnoticed because the game is so different now from when Jordan played. I love Luka, but todays game sees much less defense when compared to when Jordan did it.

This might shock people but pace of play in 88-89 of 101.6 is almost the same as 2019-20 at 101.9. 1998-99 was actually the height of slow play (Shaq era) at 88.9 possessions per game. MJ also played a whopping 40.2 min/game in 88-89 while Luka is currently at 33.4 min/game this season.

People sleeping on his record because he’s done it with ease.. no one else has made it look this easy. When Westbrook came close the pressure got too much, Luka literally playing 3qtrs and double teamed yet he’s still cruising to 20pts.

And that’s no knock on Westbrook.

This. And compare him to his contemporaries. If it's not that big of a deal in this era, why is a 20 year old second-year player the first to do it?

This is night in and night out consistency that no other player can match. His off nights like yesterday are others' on nights.

He makes it look easy but it's not that easy for everyone else.

I know there are some people who say "oh triple doubles are common nowadays everyone gets them". Yeah they might get 1 or 2 a year but not at the same rate as a couple guys like Luka, Russ, LeBron are getting them.

It's definitely not common and it's not easy. That record has been around for 30 years. If it was so easy to break it would have been broken already. Also if it was so common for today's players i expect 4 or 5 more guys to break the previous record in the next couple years. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I wouldn't hold my breath.

If you like Hoops, go for the silver /199. They've been selling for peanuts which seems criminal given the prices on his other stuff. Personally I like Hoops because it's the first release every year. First true RC. But obviously not many people agree with me yet.

I also am a big fan of the blue velocity. Got to love when card color matches jersey color.

A guy from my Community just contacted me that he wants to buy a Luka from me. Maybe not the best time to sell, but I’m still considering as I’ve bought them pretty “cheap”, sonit would be good to enjoy some profit and buy other cards.

My question is: What would you sell? I’ll add the prices I’ve bought them for. Quick note: BGS 9.5s are true gem.

1x Red Ice BGS 9.5 ($150)
1x Courtside PSA10 ($500)
