Added some more COIN in AH. Small position (speculative bet). It could drop to 50 and I will value average more at those levels. I like the risk to reward here

This is dot com bursting all over again. A lot of these garbage tech stocks are going straight to 0.

Been that way since March of 2021.

There will likely be some amazing opportunities out of this but only time will tell. I agree with you most will go to 0 or be bought out for Pennie’s on the dollar by the vultures.

Wonder if this LUNA/UST problem is crypto’s Lehman Brothers equivalent.

I don’t know much either, but same principle applies. Extremely risky assets that are claimed to have little to no risk. That’s the entire concept of a “stablecoin”. It appears that all it took to take Terra and Luna down was one person in a coordinated “attack”. And I put attack in quotes because objectively it was just a bet against the two.

Yes
Doubled my NXST position before earnings on Monday and just unloaded half.

There are some stocks that won’t get killed.

I am not buying the dip on unprofitable companies but there are plenty still raking in cash.

Wasn’t this like $70B+ wiped out in the matter of a week?

Yep. I started buying at S&P 4000-4100 and lookin to buy the dip all the way down to S&P 3200. Have plenty of cash (profits from sports cards) still on the sideline. I am selling OTM covered calls to collect premium.

That's amazing... i bought alot of cards (probably 600-700k in the last 2 years since i came back which to some of the ballers may seems like small change lol) - but i do get a bit attached to them chasing sets etc so probably sold off .0001% of them however i guess I'm not in need of using the $ from them (at least not for now - hopefully i will never need to!). For most bigger purchases, i probably can sell for good profit and for set chases/scrubs - i think they are all at a loss LOL. Who knows, maybe in another few years, they will all fall back down to previous prices so the fact that you can buy & sell for profit - i admire that!

Now onto the market - will continue to buy more myself as market drops as well but going to be more discipline in what i buy these days..

I am still holding on to my key high end cards. I have no plans to sell them at least for the next 5-10 years. I wish you good luck

401K down 16.8% on the year. Love it! Get the Buffet indicator back to historical averages. Want to start buying the market with my paycheck at a discount, not at 2x valuations

OK people, 20 minutes from a Disney drop. PE ration of 62 assuredly gets smaller right?

Hello. Are we near a bottom or what are the experts saying?

I can't find the Marketwatch article with someone calling the lows.

Morgan Stanley said S&P to 3900 but we are there and I think it goes lower.

Wife has lost 9k in her 401k since November. I am down at least 5K but I had been pumping into it on the way down.

Again… I don’t own any Crypto but this sounds scary:

“In the event the crypto exchange goes bankrupt, Coinbase says, its users might lose all the cryptocurrency stored in their accounts too.

Coinbase said in its earnings report Tuesday that it holds $256 billion in both fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies on behalf of its customers. Yet the exchange noted that in the event it ever declared bankruptcy, “the crypto assets we hold in custody on behalf of our customers could be subject to bankruptcy proceedings.””

If crash predictions from the last couple of years are to be believed, not by a long shot.
