That seems to be a common observation of most games lately. How the umpire called a pitch right down the middle of the plate a ball during last nights Orioles - Blue Jays game is unbelievable.

It was bad because Soto was right about the first one and there was a big argument over it. To screw up the second one (top of zone pitch) so badly, felt personal.

Help me out as to why this Juan Soto 1/1 RC ending on eBay isn't going crazy. I understand that Topps Now is not considered great but seeing what these new Topps Now 1/1 chase autos do this looks like the steal of the century. What am I missing?

He's still one of the top hitters in baseball, but not having a "51M a year" kind of seasons. Not sure he ever really will as his best was an 8WAR season.

I was watching that card and will agree with you that is a very soft sale. I actually would've bid on it but totally forgot it was ending.

The only explanation is as you said it is topps now, but I still think that was a massive steal
