It still doesn't discount he wasn't hired by Trumps campaign and had conversations with Trump

Manafort WAS part of the Trump campaign and if you REALLY want to believe Trump knew nothing about what Manafort was doing - then you believe that.

I didn't like Trump before this but now this seals it for me - he is a disgrace and a traitor.

How long did Manafort last on the campaign? A few months? If Manafort was doing what Trump wanted, why fire him so quickly? Manafort could have simply been trading campaign information for personal benefit.

Or Manafort had deep ties with the political establishment. How do we know he wasn't sent in to sabotage Trump?

Manafort has been under investigation for over 6 years. He’s a slime ball.

I believe the virtual convention is a mistake by the Democrats. I expected a contested convention with a different candidate emerging but it looks like they will shelter Joe in his basement and he will be the nominee.
They will realize this mistake when he has to come out of the basement to campaign and or debate.
