I agree with this but it's not concrete enough for me to comfortably say that a card has been trimmed.

As for new developments, I really don't have any. I presented what I felt were a couple of practical options to move forward and put pressure on BNC to do the right thing with his altered LeBron's.

There seemed to be a lot of outrage from people here in the thread but not a lot of enthusiasm to help do anything about it (to those who did try to help, I appreciate your work). I'm not upset and I'm not here to blame anyone - that's just the way I see it. I'd rather put my efforts into the altered card reference sheet and know that his name will be attached to many of those going forward.

I spent the weekend reading this thread and wanted to say thank you to all of you who have worked so diligently to expose those who are doing wrong by collectors. As a hobby store owner, I have been pointing people to this thread and having open and honest discussions with them about their questions and thoughts.

Being a hockey store, that McDavid HG Young Guns makes me a little sick.

It's definitely been reslabbed though. Looks like the surface went from a 9.5 to a 10.

Would like to get opinions on this one.

The back edges seem to be a bit cleaner on the graded copy.

Posted this on the other thread too. Just thought I would add it here too.

I don’t think the Webber is trimmed. The back right edge gives that appearance, but the glare is covering up some of the edge. Points of reference all check out.

I'm comparing the two on my phone, but the Webber looks fine to me.

I just want to say that I'm encouraged that there's the potential for ongoing dialogue (and publicly I might add) with some of the big players in the hobby such as PWCC and PSA. There might be doubts about if this will actually happen or if anything will come of it, but let's stop for a moment and recognize progress for what it is.

Thanks to everyone here that has contributed in some way and kept a level head about things. That includes those of you that might not post in the thread but are having conversations about it at your local card shops and shows.

Superb work, indeed.

Has anyone close to Mr. Trim Bitz heard anything from him or his camp? He's obviously still keeping track of what's being said. But I'm wondering what he's (possibly) doing to prepare himself for future backlash at shows, etc.

He will use runners and covers. Kevin Burge did it, Gunther713, and other big names. If the heat is too much, they will have guys working for them, moving and buying for them. Certain big ticket cards will move quietly at shows I’m sure. When the heat is too high for some specific cards for having too much a negative backstory, they won’t move on eBay but in person.

Totally overlooked this. You are correct, sir.

I'm wondering how much of his inventory he's purposely withheld from listing or the public since this debacle unfolded. Now that many of the exposed cards are serial numbered and already have blood on their slabs.

I don't think it's hurt business all that much. Someone pointed out that there was a big Trout sale not too long ago.

'Blood on their slabs.'

That needs to be the title of the next card collecting book!

very interesting read. I was referred to this thread after discussing the potential trimming of a higher end MJ that ended last night

I’d like for you to all know that Cardboard Chronicle has released a video discussing the thread and altered cards. Specific examples have been mentioned and he did reference all those to read and be informed. Excellent watch and will definitely boost awareness
