What is Lex Luger remembered for, honestly? Big, muscles up dude that flexed a lot and beat Yokozuna in a championship match where the title didn’t change hands and it was supposed to be this huge victory. Didn’t he also win the WCW title and then the next night lose it right back to Hogan?
Luger vs Flair
Luger vs Hogan (Hogan was always a trash wrestler and Luger made the matches good)
Luger vs Sting
Luger had a lot of good matches/feuds.

My favorite Lex Luger period was when he was in that tag team with Sting where he would pretend to be a face when he was around Sting, but be a flat out heel when he was by himself. That's some weird shades of grey stuff you never saw in wrestling at the time, and don't see any more either.

Wasn't that towards the end of WCW or earlier? I do remember that just can't remember the years.

It was 95 or so. It was pre NWO because he was anti-Hogan and Sting was still Hogan's friend.

Ahhh, The only thing I didn't like about his career was when he joined the Red and Black. He was the most Anti-NWO guy on the roster and that just crapped on everything done the years prior.

THE most anti nwo guy on the roster? No, that was Sting without question. Hell, I'd probably put DDP above Luger on that list too, since turning down the NWO is really what kickstarted his rise. But it was a complete joke when they both joined the Wolfpac. But again, even more so for the Stinger

Agreed, I love the Rumble but so many of the spots have become so predictable. Back in the early rumbles even if you went through the middle rope you had a 10 second count out rule like every other match and couldn't just get a spot by attacking someone else with a spot. There was a rule that you had to be in the ring before the next 10 second countdown started as well. I get that rules don't matter in wrestling and they relaxed them to add swerves and story lines, but once you let those go it makes no sense for anyone to actually get in the ring where they can be eliminated.

This is what I took out of that spot as well. It's really the first time I can remember men hitting women with wrestling moves on purpose. Sure there's been times it's been an "accident" like Steph at Mania or female managers getting in the wrong way, but this was the first time a woman took punishment from a man in a wrestling capacity (that I can remember). If the backlash isn't too severe...this could be the start of a trend.

Unless we consider Chyna a woman

With the right lady it can work. Mucha underground had some pretty good matches with sexystar vs whatever dude. I hope they don't try and turn it into some teaching moment though.

This will get lost in the WOLVES vs EVERYBODY back and forth, but Rowan returning to help DB really ruined the whole night for me.

Rowan gets hurt and they understandably take the straps off of the BB and take them both off of TV.
Harper has surgery while he's off tv, why not if you're not gonna use him.
But instead of waiting until they are both healthy and having a dominant tag team to work with, they bring Rowan back as a hillbilly body guard...

My assumption is this now means the Bludgeon Brothers gimmick is over, so what does this mean for Harper?

1. The WWE will continue to keep him off TV cause they won't know what to do with him.
2. The WWE pulls their heads out of the @$$es and finally gives him the singles push that he deserves... Doubtful...
3. He leaves WWE once his contract is up and goes to AEW.

I'm honestly hoping for #3 at this point...
I really feel like AEW will utilize him correctly, but if WWE is gonna throw a boat load of money at people just so that they stay, he'd be dumb not to.

If only they would've stuck with Harper and made that WWE title match a triple threat with Orton and Wyatt. WWE has made some mistakes with talent over the past few years, but this was one of the biggest they've made.

I agree but I think a lot of it has to do with match placement, he usually has matches 3/4th into the show when the crowd is dead.

I also think Styles character is stale and needs a change into a heel or a trade to Raw.

Oh yea his ‘character’ is super stale.

AJ/Bryan was awesome, until they did the unneeded Rowan run in. Its gonna suck if they keep Rowan with Bryan. Bryan needs to be on his own, he's been great in this heel run. Rowan sucks, but apparently Vince or someone likes him, so Bryan gets stuck with him.

I expect Charlotte to get added to Becky/Ronda (I assume Becky is picking Ronda). And Charlotte has a good argument since Becky wasn't suppose to be in it. Plus putting Charlotte in it would make it 100 times better.

Rollins winning wasn't a surprise sadly. Was happy to see Gargano get some time in the Rumble after he had the MOTN at Takeover the day earlier.

So are the bludgeon brothers dead? Are we going to ignore that forever? It’s ok if so

It used to happen all of the time, but it has definately been a while. I think in some situations it makes sense for the men and women to get physical with each other.

It is NOT ok

We will obviously know more Tuesday, but unfortunately my guess is yes, BBs are dead and Rowan is now DB's bodyguard.

You can't go back to the BB attire and shtick after coming out Sunday in street clothes.
And you can't have one BB, so that leaves Harper without a gimmick.

I did read online today that there is a small possibility Harper will align with Rowan and DB, but why not just come out together last night and attack AJ together if that was true.

So my guess is that they either have nothing for Harper (most likely) or he's going on his own...

Jeff Jarrett signed on to be a producer so that makes his Rumble appearance make more sense as to why they'd fly him out there.

Hurricane Helms also signed on but unclear if he's going to be a main roster producer or a NXT Coach

I assume me wanting Charlotte added to the match is "against the grain"? Hell Im a Becky fan too, but I know Charlotte would make the match even better, and would control the ring. If it was just Ronda & Becky I could see it getting a bit iffy. AGAIN I like Becky, but adding Charlotte is needed. Dont see the issue, Im sure Becky would still go over.

No, it was thinking the worst match by far on the card was 'awesome', while it was pretty much panned by everyone.

Rollins/Brock isn't a draw. But its WM so it doesn't matter.

Mania's the draw. The company is the draw, not the stars anymore

Besides Ronda and Becky are main eventing
