It’s a mixture of buyers. There’s still money to be made in buying higher end singles at release, grading, then flipping quickly. As a kid my parents took us to opening day every year. I played baseball. I loved baseball. It was my sport.

I vividly remember as an 8 year old watching the Sid Bream play on tv. So much of my youth way baseball.

And now, I detest them. Not the players but the ownership and all he represents. So much so that when I got the email from Wigle Whiskey (a local company I loved) about Bob Nutting buying them, I unsubscribed and haven’t bought a single thing from them since. He is a scourge to Pittsburgh.

That's tremendous news. Wow. Not that I think these are a $3500 card, probably closer to $2k, but it's one more off the market on a really nice looking Jrod and extremely low print run.

Just curious how people feel. Sapphire Bat Down is iconic. It’s why Sapphire is what it is today. There are a few hundred copies. Last BGS 9.5 went for $2500.

Need to see how they do him an Update. For example, if his base rookie in Update is some horizontal garbage picture, then the logofractor will be one of his more iconic rookies. Just my opinion of course, but Im bullish as I think the design and aesthetic on the logofractor image is extremely high.

Looks like a couple of sales of base packs. 10 went for $33.50 and 200 for $400. Looks like these could settle around $2 per pack or less. Unless there is something else in the packs besides base.

Isn’t a base Wander the best card you can hit from them? That’s a $10 card right now. I wouldn’t pay a quarter for those packs.
