First off, what an acquisition Gray has been. This guy is just so impressive!

Gallo with a big homer last night gets the 2nd half started right. Going to have to go on a good run here, and more importantly need Correa and Buck to come out out, in order to justify doing anything significant at the deadline

Wallner is finally back up! Hoping he can keep doing what he has all year long. Looking forward to seeing him in the majors again. Bummed Miranda hasn't caught on this year, though it sounds like he's dealt with shoulder stuff for basically the entire season. Maybe that's a cause for his struggles?

At this point Miranda might need surgery for that shoulder. It’s gotta be a reason his power has basically been zapped

It's been a lot of fun to see Julien mash in his latest stint over the past month or so. He was hitting ok previously, but really wasn't passing the eye test for me. But over his last stint he's slashing .369..432/.619 with 9 doubles and 4 homers in the past ~30 games. I was very ready to become a huge fan of his at the start of the year so the slower start was disappointing. But man is he living up to the hype now

Will be curious to see what we do when Polanco returns. Julien's gotta stay, but his defense makes him impossible to play anywhere other than 2B. Does Polo shift to 3B? Or maybe we finally put Buck on the IL and Julien can take DH for the time being

We have a top level rotation either way Top 5 rotation in the league by most all metrics. No disputing that lineup though. But if Julien and AK keep hitting, man that fills such a huge hole. And only 6 games in, but credit where it's due to Correa who's hitting .296/.367/.519 in the second half

I am just hoping enough bats can stay hot while we continue to get good pitching and we go on a good run leading up to the trade deadline and help entice the FO to find an upgraded bat. We could really use a 3B or (feels crazy to say) upgraded corner OF

If you didn't catch last Sunday's walkoff down here in AA, it was quite exciting. I witnessed this in person. It was our catcher who did this.

Not sure if we fought hard to win that one or if the White Sox fought hard to lose it. It's absolutely baffling how awful Chicago's defense has been for years. But very satisfying series either way. Doing exactly what we need to do, take care of teams we should beat, and come out hot out of the ASB. Hope we can keep it going and get some reinforcements coming in over the next week too

The first half twins don’t make that comeback, this team is actually showing some fight on the offensive side of the ball. Julien has been incredible, Kirilloff is finding his power again, Jeffers is playing more and more. Correa has been playing really well since moving to leadoff. I really like where this team is trending

Go get me a solid righty OF/1B and a good reliever and we are cooking

Agreed on the bold for sure. All credit to the squad in bottom 9, that was scrappy. And I love to see this fight in them, they just never gave up and look so much more confident. But we tied it in the bottom of the 10th thanks to a wild pitch and the WS RF falling down tracking a routine short fly. Number of other silly plays by the WS in this series as well. Not complaining or trying to put down the Twins, but it's crazy to me how consistently sloppy the WS have been for years
