No they haven't lol this shows people don't know the hockey market.

LCS have got killed on a few different products hockey wise, mostly Extended, distributers maybe but I know places that have had to sell product barely above what they paid so not sure how they are killing on everything.

EDIT: Skybox is another, people here said they have gotten them around $60 let's be logical here do you think they are paying $5 lol if not they aren't making a killing

Also add Credentials and Allure to this list. I know some are having to sell well below cost to recoup what they can for these. The run of 2021-22 and 2022-23 releases over the couple months to catch up has cost LCSs more than it's helped...

In any year I'm not sure the market can absorb dual year releases but especially not in this economy. I'd like to open some stuff but hard to justify with resale prices. It has to be for fun knowing your ROI is gonna be terrible.

22-23 has been an easy pass compared to 21-22. The crop is weaker and quality control is terrible. There are a few jewels potentially, but with Bedard stuff right around the corner and 21-22 The Cup close, people are holding back. 22-23 is definitely the year of singles.

If you like ripping wax it's a dream scenario right now for 21-22 and 22-23 products.

I've had amazing luck selling 22-23 Extended singles on COMC. ($700 for a full case. It's just a no brainer.)

Gonna keep having fun until the Bedard stuff makes it like basketball wax.

I don't disagree, but for those of us who like to rip wax there will be some very good prices to be had. Definitely agree that avoiding the terrible quality on S1/S2 is a must, but products like SPx for the right price deliver some good value. Mind you, that price is like $70 a box - but some crazy stuff can be found.

They sell out within about 90 seconds of going up. It'd be faster but the servers crash nonstop. I did manage to get two - one was a gold.

So this is fun...

I was able to buy two of #1 and #2. Tried for another 2 of #2 and submitted my payment and was in the queue but it then cancelled because it sold out. Just checked my bank statement and I have 3 charges from Upper Deck and nothing in my packs for the one that was cancelled while in the queue. Good job upper deck.

I am pretty sure PJ "UD rep" said the lag time on the physical card would be 8-12 weeks. There might be other RC's out before we see this live.

Would it not be similar for Topps since that is print to order ? Don't buy Topps Now really but feels like both these would be similar situations, point being there won't be this sticker out before all other RC's that will buy you a Tesla before his actual RC's come out. There are too many pre Rc's (Pats stuff), Team Canada cards, GDM, even Tim Horton's redemption for stickers to appreciate value before his real rookies imo

If he is a point a game that gold could be $200 and still could be, people didn't believe in his GDM Team Canada parallels either, check those prices
