Individually yes. But our society over time created police because we need a community law enforcement system to call to action when meth heads or rapists or domestic abusers etc make trouble. Without it there would be chaos. Oh no, I said system

Well you answered one of my questions already. Which is the interesting thing about your posts. Often you just throw out questions with commentary, usually pretty biased and loaded ones, but with no commentary you don’t assign any thought or ownership to the question. When I responded that I hated the sentiment posed in your general question, you come back that I hated your sentiment. Which means it wasn’t a general question as you posed, but you truly felt that anyone disagreeing with the players or NBA taking a stance on the issue was in the wrong.

As I said, explaining why I hated the sentiment is that a consumer is allowed to feel any way they want about a product and respond in kind but continuing to consume or not. If the league taking a stance on an issue that is both controversial and political, a consumer is in their rights to question or change their habits. It happens all the time in less controversial ways.

I guess the great takeaway from all of this was in your desire to show my non-existent bias - unless you take my hatred of a consumer changing their mind over personal beliefs being wrong as a bias - is that you went ahead and revealed your bias for all of us.

I say if you are so against the political and social stances of Black Lives Matter and want to turn off the NBA, do so. It’s your right as a consumer to speak with your wallet.

I may be taking that route with NFL, should they pursue that stance come the fall.

Bucks chose not to play today. Everything I see said Bucks decision. Could turn out to be mutual, but right now the question is whether or not Magic take a W. Sure the NBA will put out a statement shortly but no game today.
