LOL CBS Sports article saying if the Knicks hire Jason Kidd will that lure Giannis to NYC.

I still think like 70% chance Giannis stays in Milwaukee. If he does leave it won't be for NY even if Kidd is there. Giannis leaves he wants to go to a team that can contend for championship and besides MKE that would be only a couple other teams he might consider going to. He saw Kidd in MKE and knows he is not a good coach who can't get his teams to play at a championship contender level.

Boy, I think a lot would have to happen for Giannis to go to the Knicks. Mainly new ownership and a whole lot of talent upgrade.

If the talent that Milwaukee has but around him sours I could definitely see him leaving... just don't expect it to be to the Knicks. I mean, there's a whole lot of real estate between a Durant like move to a Super team and the Knicks organization.

If you had $800-1000 to spend on Giannis what route would yall go? Pick up some ungraded Hoops go for something graded? Raw Prizm? Trying to figure out the best way to invest.

always go raw and grade yourself if you're trying to maximize the investment for newer cards that are unlikely to be trimmed or altered.

I've been wanting a Base Elite Rookie as well..i see two on ebay one BGS9 one PSA9...havent seen any current comps for 9s (last BGS9 went for $275 but that was in early May). Anyone know about the range one would go for now?

Honeslty haven't kept track of raw prizm prices.
IF it gets a PSA 10 those are going for 3K.

Even if it "only" gets a 9, those are going for $1100, so that would pay for grading & ebay fees plus a couple hundred profit

That's kinda what I was thinking. I saw an 8 go for 700 the other day so I figure no matter what I won't get killed too bad. I went out at 580 on that card Chris. Kinda cool runnning into the person that won it. I may check out the Elites. Thanks for all the feedback everyone. This is probably the nicest thread I've been on. I'm a Lakers fan but might find myself pulling for the Bucks also now. Have yall noticed Middleton prizms have been kinda hot as well.

Elite RCs are underrated across the board. Love the scarcity and serial numbers personally. Tough to say what it’s going to go for because of the lack of comps. Buyers will either go big and set a new precedent or shy away and stay close to past sales. To me, the Giannis elite is worth erring on the high side. It’s only going to climb anyway.

that was OBO and first to market. the non-orange ones and fast break ended in the $250 range. I'd put it up at $500 OBO and try to get anything $3XX, if anything you can always put it up for auction and get the $250

Those base are tough grades.... 52 graded... 23 PSA 10s, 27 PSA 9s...

If you just look at them funny it will cause a corner to bend slightly.

One is up via Best Offer with a crazy price... I'd like to see what one would sell for at auction. - I was wrong...it's a BGS 9.5... not a PSA 10
