This is a year long trend. Yes, Denver is good, but the amount of big leads this team squanders (regardless of the opposition) is mind blowing.

On a good note, Z giving Jokic a front row ticket to the Blue Angels air show at the end of the 3rd.

You're not wrong. My point is I expect Denver to be able to erase a 10 point lead. Regardless, you should be happy that Zion will drop his first 40 piece tonight. Most efficient 40 point game ever?

Amazing how Zion's fg line looks like a good shooter's ft slash.

Notice how the team went from down 6 to up 11 as soon as Z was reinserted. I would like to see that 'gimme the damn ball and let me work' gene down the stretch here, but the kid might be too nice.

I never wanted to be a Zion fan, thought he was overrated and a year later here I am and wanting to watch every game, thinking somehow he is now severely underrated and buying everything I can get my hands on. Gets more and more fun to watch weekly it seems as well.

Pop 2 last I checked and one of his best cards in my opinion.

Yesssss, me too, although I loaded pretty heavily in late January. Still slowly picking up pieces here and there. Going to make a thorough post here soon.

BI can be amazing and he can also be frustrating. When you have the most reliable scorer possibly in the entire NBA in Zion, some of the shots Ingram puts up make you curse at the TV.

I honestly do think Ingram is a great player, but I really think NO needs to consider moving him for pieces that better complement Z. Ingram could go be an alpha elsewhere and probably be a great fit.

I would love to see either a couple snipers for Zion to kick to on the perimeter or a point guard with the ability to penetrate and score to pair with Zion on a pick and roll (D. Fox comes to mind).

Scary thing is, he's intentionally shying away from taking wide open 3's just because his interior efficiency almost makes it nonsensical. But he shot over 30% in college and now shooting 38% in his young nba career. It's there...whenever/if ever he decides to unleash it.

Mans is a future nightly triple double threat in the making.

I been sayin’, give me Fox and Buddy for Ingram. Screw defense, just roll out the ball with Fox and Z running downhill, with Buddy and find a big who can spot up. Game plan: we’re gonna score 140, if you can top that, congrats.

Alright boys and girls, let’s review for the next test:

- Opposing teams literally cannot stop Zion
- New Orleans continues to find ways to fumble away key wins
- BI can’t handle clutch moments

Thank you to this franchise for keeping prices down a while longer so we can continue adding to our respective collections. I wanted nothing more than to see playoff Zion this season, but this team just doesn’t seem to have it.

Don’t be surprised to see Zion sit for big chunks of time tomorrow coming off a b2b... they rode him hard in the 4th tonight but of course hopped off and let BI throw up so clunkers at the end to keep feeding the ego.

It's funny how some of y'all overreact after a loss. Especially in season 2 of Zion and the complete rebuilding of the Pelicans. BI is 23. Zion is 20. And you want to completely demolish the whole team to trade for what? What piece is going to make the Pelicans a contender this year? Let the youngins grow. Let them find their roles in the team and develop together. You all have no patience. NAW is 22, Lonzo 23, Kira 19, Hayes 20. I mean compare it to some of these teams who are still in rebuilds. Take Chicago for example, they are barely a playoff team and have 27 year old Zach Lavine.

Pelicans have a lot of time to grow, and the expectations for this team are far too high. The expectation for this team from even before the season should've been a low playoff seed or play-in seed. They're not reaching that yet, but there's still time. Just be happy your investment is dropping 40 on better efficiency than Shaq for now. Be glad he's not 100 pounds overweight like everyone said he was last year.
