There are 1802 targets...how many boxes is each location getting? They dont all get the same amount due to different sales volume. So image they all got 20 boxes on an average (many much less) so that's over 36,000 boxes, 72,000 packs, 720,000 cards. 150 cards in the base set, plus all the other inserts numbered parallels... do the math ... some rare stuff right now, and there aren't any signs of the market flooding. This set, these cards, could be a high dollar ticket.

Your hypothetical math isn't adding up for me. Tell me if I am off, but shouldn't it be the following:
1802 Targets
20 boxes/store (I think its less)
3 mojo packs/box
5 cards/pack
150 cards in set
then subtract numbered parallels

I dont think you can calculate print run based on Target stores. Why not use the odds for the 1/1's and see how much was printed?

I'll do it if anyone has pack odds available.

On Cardboard connection they have the 1/1 odds for autographs at 1:6,838 packs

There are 21 autos x 6,838=143,556/2=71,778 boxes

Did I do that right?

If we use the number of target stores mentioned above that means if each one got the same amount they would each get 40 boxes...we know that didn't happen though.

I will say that judging by the odds, I must have killed them. Because I opened 8 packs and got 7 numbered refs including 1 auto. Other people on here have said the same thing or gave the same impression. perhaps they didn't print as many boxes as the odds state?

Yes, this number was crunched by someone else on this forum.

I think everyone can agree that the print run is smaller then that. Either there is going to be 3-4 more waves to catch up to that print run number stated above or the product was recalled. Unless it's normal for more then 50% of a product run to pull a dissapeearing act..

*How many of those 21 have even surfaced? a few? How long has this product been out?

Only 3 Mega box 1/1 autos have hit eBay in current or completed listings. The only one of the 21 regular chrome autos is Jorge Mateo. There have been 2 of the ROY favorite autos: Aaron Judge or Jharel Cotton

I imagine most will grade out 9.5's and there will be MANY more 10's but if your not first, your last I guess..

I got curious and looked at the BGS pop report yesterday, there was only 1 graded and it was this 10.

Seen that so I did a 1 day auction on mine only to pull another the same day. It only got to 86 though... And I seen that graded one... holy smokes they are gonna clean house with that thing right now. Musta sent it in straight outta the box.

I've opened 6 boxes and got ZERO color nor any auto's... but did score 2 Otani's at least. I was getting more auto's & color out of the initial blasters.

I got rid of mine to rid me of the temptation of opening them. It seems doing them individually is the way to go though. I did them as a lot and was getting lowballed left and right. Everyone wants to be a middleman... I don't get it.

When I pulled the first Otani I spent about $50 on the 3 boxes at Target and was like 'I'm gonna sell this for what it took to get it? That's dumb and as stuff dried up the prices for this base Rookie card were too hard to deny. Listed it and the remaining boxes after I pulled my Replacement Otani... the well continues to dry up though... or Finest has everyone's attention now or something.

So my guess is that even if there is no recall that they won't be releasing the full amount. Reminds me of the 16 archives anniversary release. Most big cards haven't been pulled. Probably saving for replacements.

Just to add my experience for the edification of this thread...

Went to 9 targets in Michigan around Ann Arbor, Ypsi, Canton, Plymouth, etc.

Went as many as 6 or 7 times on different days to half of these Targets (they're all on my way to and from home, work, etc).

Only found Mega Boxes in one of the stores, and only one time: 5 of them, all in one row, which clearly had not yet been touched (I took all of them, obviously). This was at least a week after they first began surfacing and was more than a week ago from today. I've gone many times to other Targets since and have found absolutely nothing. 40 or so Target trips and found the boxes exactly once.

...if anyone's curious about the breakdown of my 5: 1 auto (Keller), 2 purple (Tyler O'Neil and Tyler Austin) and one green (Tyler Jay). My experience tells me that every color parallel in this product is of a "Tyler." I'm not sure how this can be argued.

No Otani, though I managed Maitan, Rutherford, Gleyber, etc.

I'm sitting on about 10 mega boxes. I intentionally left two at my parents home in CA. I might have pulled one auto, and some color but no otanis. I did buy two last week for $50 and $59. (Otani) Might list one of them.

But same here. I've visited 12-15 targets multiple times, and only 2 had megaboxes in AZ, 2 in CA. I bought every single one at every store.
