Select. Check the pop reports. I also like that it is an actual game photo used vs standard rookie photo shoot.

That's funny, i was just talking about those the other day.

Beautiful card. I'm so jealous. The picture doesn't do it justice. You have to use your imagination a little because the Luka actually looks like the LeBron below.

I wouldn't call it a problem. I think it's much better than having one of the overproduced brands out there.

If you're a Luka fan and you're priced out on RC's there will be good value in year 2 stuff. Can't wait to see the live action photo's.

This is the best thing about basketball cards. The superstar vets are always in high demand. And people pay huge, huge money for the big cards.

Yep, and the same products Prizm, Optic, etc. second year cards will sell for a fraction of his RC's this year. Down the road they will be highly sought after though. That's what i mean when i say there's good value there. Something veteran collectors know about that newer collectors maybe haven't learned yet. I just wanted to pass that info along.

this is a discussion i have often, with many folks.

now, of course RARE stuff, the bolded will apply.

but who "gets pumped" when they pull a mid-range Chris Paul? or anyone like that?

That's true. I think it depends on how good do you think he can become? The word generational talent get's used too often imo. My idea of generational talent is much tougher to attain. LeBron is generational talent, Curry is generational talent, Giannis right now is generational talent. Drew Brees, Brady, Manning are generational talent. Will Luka ever reach that level? It's really early but i think he can. What i see in all those guys that was more then stats was their desire to win that made them special. Luka has that "it factor". Right now Luka is the Mahomes of basketball.

Did he though? Or was he just the first major beneficiary of the new era of analytics & data science with a coach and a system who knew to trust what the data was telling them (shoot more 3s! A lot more)? I say it's the latter. If Ray Allen were born 15 years later, he would have done the exact same thing.

Shoots amazingly, no doubt about it.

i can see why the kids love him, because he shoots amazingly, and is a small dude, which most kids are, and they think they can grow up to be like him.

but for me, generational talents do things that ordinary folks can only dream of doing

Yeah.. Ray Allen was only a couple rules away from leading a team to five straight finals.

Ray Allen was not Steph Curry. Can’t be serious with that. The two aren’t anything alike except they are both guards who shoot threes.

Boy, I hope Luka starts signing his redemption auto cards. My two best Luka cards are both redemption cards, his contenders optic blue auto and red auto. I hope Panini is not going to replace them cause I can't think of any other player's cards they can replace Luka rc auto with.

Contenders optic have already been signed by Luka based on panini’s latest update 👍🏻
