Local shop had a flash sale over the weekend on hobby boxes at $80 for four hours only. Didn't have a chance to get over there.

As far as I know they are 1/1 by the artist, so if there are 3 artists you’d have three 1/1s. But I’m not 100% sure.

Yes, they're each a 1/1, but each artist does multiple athletes and multiple artists can also do the same athlete. Topps has historically not released any sort of checklist, so you'll never really know what else could be out there.

I posted back in the S1 thread...had this happen to me, but with a case:

'one jumbo case had 12 SSP's, 13 Black Parallels, 10 Pink's....while 2 boxes had 4 autos back to back in each.'

Was happy to be on the receiving end of one Topps' mishaps.....and TBP, no.... I did not return the extra hits to Topps, lol

And Stryker opened a hanger case and got 5 lumber cards. It’s not unusual for Fanatics QC to be atrocious, you just want to be on the good end, which is kinda hard to do on purpose.

On the other end though he also did a 2 case hobby break and was missing 4 hits from one of the cases.

He did state that he called his sales rep and they wasted no time making it right where as the old Topps management probably would've said go suck wind. So I guess if there is anything positive it's that there are going to be mistakes and bumps but they seem to be really eager to make things right when they happen. Plus we have to remember this is their first year doing this and overall from a customer service standpoint I feel like they are 100x better than the old Topps owners.

I have a feeling had it not been Stryker, they would not be sending out two free complete cases to make up for 4 boxes in one, and 2 boxes in the other missing a single hit in his original two cases. Assuming the replacements are not missing any, thats 24 hits to replace 6 that were missed, plus all the bonus parallels, etc.

This is not a dig on Stryker, I like him and subscribe to his channel. This is Topps "making things right" for someone with a lot of visibility. I doubt many of us would have been greeted with such a response had we reported 6 missing hits out of two cases. They will take care of their breakers and influencers. The real question, will they take care of their "collectors"?
