I thought I posted these but if I did I can't find it.

This is one of the Lankford grails that popped up recently. To me the Gold is the ultimate in 90s sets, better than Crusades, EC'S, 24kt, etc. The Red and Blue were two of the first "big" Ray cards I picked up so it feels great to close this out.

Haha, thanks. My "buy it when I see it" list is down to 5 cards. But I definitely put a big dent in the list of top 90s cards lately.

Crusade Red is still my #1, but now that I have the 96 Mirror Gold in hand, I have definitely wavered in how sure I am of that. Such an amazing card from one of the most significant sets of all time.

Woah, that's a big one!

That set has always reminded me of the 1996 Stadium Club Extreme Winners Gold.

Beautiful shot on that one! I dont have any cards in that set, do they have the plastic top finish like the gold dome cards?

These are gorgeous cards. I wish I could truly capture the essence of the card, but I gave it my best shot.

I'm so happy to check another big one off my list and add this to the collection.

My favorite insert/design ever. Have the Bagwell and Biggio and had a custom done of Altuve. My wish is for Topps to bring this back in this years Finest Flashbacks.

They are a metal card with a glass dome finish on top. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are oversized (even bigger than 52-56 Topps) so they don't fit in any toploaders or mags.

So you're the one that Tanner made that Altuve for? I'm trying to have him make a custom card for my cousins kid and when I came across that Altuve it was pretty much game over. It looks incredible

I picked up another 1998 Donruss Collections Elite Prized Collections. These are super undervalued IMO. The Elites are limited to 220 (though not numbered) and have a refractor finish. I picked up this Maddux for $20. Compare that to about $200 for the 1998 Topps Chrome refractor.

I’m still on the lookout for Griffey and Jeter.

Yup guy does some amazing work, still have to get him to make me an 1997 Essential Credential of Altuve once I get a little lull of getting some Altuve’s I don’t have

I was somehow able to fit mine into a toploader. It is the only toploader I ever found that fit it. they are out there!

Interesting. It didn't fit in any of mine so mine is just in a Card Saver I.

I'm sure I've shared this before but with all the 97 Embossed talk might as well do it again

Love it! I didn't photograph the back of mine, but there is something about a set having the refractor on the back as well that just screams quality.

That's one of the reasons this this is in my Top 5 even though it's not the rarest or most valuable. Absolutely love this set. I kept toying with putting it together back when most cards were sub $100. A little late for that now

I had Established in mind when I made that comment.

Unfortunately, Larkin doesn't have one in that set, or else it would be really high on my list.

Here's an underrated set imo. These are so tough for some players. I've been working on the Establishment subset so only 30 cards.

One of my favorite's for sure! Like you I wish I went for back in the day. Missing Griffey and Jeter for the set...not sure I'll ever pony up for either one, lol.

I was playing around with the stitching function on my phone the other day so I made a collage of some of my favorite 90s Larkins. Thought I'd share it here to bump this thread.

I have to say I think this is my fav thread of all time! I love seeing the stuff you all have and are able to track down and purchase. So much of it is great memories from collecting as a kid as well. My only wish is that I had more disposable income to buy some of this amazing stuff! Thanks to all of you who post your collection pieces here!!
