I can see it now: he shows up to walmart, goes to card section, sees freshly stock displayed, gets super excited, thinks to himself "gee how am i going to carry all this mosaic to checkout?", goes to get a cart so that he doesn't take display cases so others know not to waste their time, comes back to card section to put mosaic in his cart minus display cases, only to see the next guy just took everything, display cases included and is already in line paying at self check out. lmao.

100% true. Both times i found a full display of mosaic as i was walking away people showed up to the card aisle. If i would have walked away to get a cart i would’ve been done for.

yea man it’s survival of the fittest with these things. If there is one time to be selfish, the time is now. Dont get me wrong, if i found a fresh display and another collector showed up as im taking it, i would without one doubt split it with that person. But if no one shows up, im taking it all because i know the next man will do the same exact thing and could care less if i get any or not.

It sounds so petty and I know guys like to take pics of it nice and neat on the display case to flex on here, but that's not really necessary. Take a nice pic of your 50 blasters and 30 hangers and 15 cellos without the case and I guarantee you will get the same response from people on here!

The display case is just to help others know to save their gas and move on from this store, rather than coming back and back for nothing. Courtesy (yes, I know that doesn't exist anymore) to other collectors (re-sellers, etc.).

Im curious to know how many of you have missed out on a restock by minutes or even seconds? Collectively, i think i could have cleaned up 9 total stores of mosaic combined if only i would have showed up 5 minutes before. Literally only 5 minutes is all it took to miss out; which is why i am very grateful i have found 3 full displays so far.

I swear to you im thinking the same thing. EVERY TIME. Im almost certain this is the case with lots of people. But lets not assume and let’s realize this cant possibly be the case 100% of the time. Im sure there are still a few out there that collect and have extremely kind hearts that do leave some for the next man.

Im actually going to make it a point moving forward to leave one box behind. Im going to hide it behind the blasters so that when someone searches it will bring them joy to find at least one. Im truly going to hunt with this mentality starting tomorrow and moving forward.

Nah. I left 12 blasters this morning. Member here was able to scoop in and grab the rest. Helping the blowout community during these crazy retail times...if it was Walmart and hangers I probably would have scooped them all up.
