I don't know what he plans to do now. He likely got word that he's being talked about on BO since he edited his post so it now reads as:

"J_ _ _ _ Potter: I bought 10 sets from 7 different buyers. One messaged without asking and said he would send. I messaged the other sellers, 2 responded will send and 4 responded no."

I did screenshot his original comment so if he ends up filing a return with "Kokkocollectibles" or anyone else, I'll be happy to share it with others. It's crazy how he attempted to put Kokkocollectibles on blast on FB (for not willingly sending the stamped cards) too.

Yeah I haven't heard from him on Ebay anymore so I'm hoping the matter is put to rest. He mentioned he bought the sets at various price points so possibly to the ones that agreed to send him the cards to him sold to him at a high price

It's like selling a car that has a known defect. zig they do a recall for a replacement transmission in two years after it's sold, the buyer gets that benefit. The person that sold it doesn't get to go collect a new transmission.

I’m not very active on here, but yeah, definitely blocking this potterstradingcardz dude on EBay. Don’t even want to bother with this blowhard.

P.s. everyone should just add a disclaimer on their EBay description that only the sealed contents in the original box will be included, nothing else. If someone chooses to buy it, you can always point to that since EBay locks in the descriptions once it’s sold.

I think this case is quite simple.
If you recall, set #5 of the lost designs Montgomery club sets this year wasn’t shipped with the auto and Topps sent the autographed card separately. For example, if the OP pre-sold (and already mailed out) the “Lost Design set #5” then I think the buyer is entitled to the autographed card. As for the 2022 MC complete sets, the buyer has no right to the bonus stamped cards as these were not part of the original checklist AND it had been known that these “bonus” cards included were not stamped. If the buyer doesn’t agree, then they should initiate a return.

If you're still waiting on the SET, you should reach out to customer service, those were sent months ago. If you just meant the AUTO, then yeah, those are still MIA for all but a couple of teams.

That... doesn't help me understand, lol. Are you only missing the AUTO, or the whole base SET? The autos haven't been shipped, but the base sets were shipped months ago (including the base sets that were part of an "auto set"). So if you ordered the "auto set" then you should have already received the base set, along with a slip of paper that said "we'll ship the auto to you later."

i think Topps should simply make the cards an exchange thing. It will make unstamped cards rarer, it will make stamped cards rarer, and it will be like a "rip" for collectors to determine if they want to break the seal on the set bad enough to remove the unstamped cards and redeem for the stamped ones or just keep the set sealed with the unstamped ones.

But the cards in the set are identical to the cards in every other set. So they wouldn't have to open their Monty set to get the cards to exchange, they could open any other set.

make people open their sets, waste money & time to ship in worthless base cards back to Topps. Then they have to deal with opening random envelopes/bubble mailers with crap cards that they have no need for, send multiple emails up the chain to confirm receipt, confirm 582 memberships then turn around and mail out the new cards?

yeah, that's exactly what Topps wants to do. Very logical.
