Well they can kiss their place in the standings goodbye. If he's out 4-6 weeks they might be too far gone to have a chance at the playoffs. I don't think they're going to win many games without him. It just shows how valuable he is to them. They look like bottom feeders without Luka on the court.

Like others have said, this injury sucks. Luka was killing it, but this really does show valuable he is to the Mavericks. They are legit trash without him.

Good news is 3 games under .500 gets you the 7th seed right now, so if he’s not out too long there’s still plenty of hope.

My ankle rolls like that all the time, but never injured, or walk with a limp. As a cyclist for years, my ankle joint becomes flexible and joint stretched. It also helps my thighs does not look like watermelons. I hope Luka is out for months, so I can re-invest.

We will know nothing until the MRI. The mavs staff likely has it wrapped with ice made from holy water right now.

Makes me wonder what kind of treatment he will get? I remember getting ice all night after my ankle ballooned up. Then in the next few days took anti inflammatory pills so the swelling can come down. Then when the swelling went away 3-4 days later I had an X-ray done. Came back negative. Doctor recommended I go to the gym and get on the swimming pool and do therapy there. It helped a lot. Hopefully Luka will be back in 2-3 weeks?

I feel like I might be getting baited into this one but I will take the high road here.

Despite what many may think, I am a fan of Luka's. Right now, his Prizm Gold RC is #1 on my list of most wanted cards.

I don't see him as a Tier 1 Superstar alongside the likes of Jordan, Kobe and Lebron as most people here do, unfortunately.
His meteoritic rise has taken a lot of the attention off my main PC guy Giannis. I am very grateful for that.

Sounds like you've got it pretty well diagnosed. Give Luka a call and let him know you had the same injury and he'll be fine. He could probably use a word of encouragement.

If he is out for a few weeks or more but comes back within 4-6, this is a chance for the rest of the team to get off Lukas back and play some big boy ball themselves which may help the team. Brunson will be an interesting one to watch develop during this time. I can see him playing a vanvleet type role eventually in this offense come playoff time.

There was one listed on Ebay last spring for $6000. Got a counter offer of $5500 and ended up missing out on it after someone swooped in and paid $5700 or so. At the time, I was swimming in Giannis Prizms and unfortunately swimming in debt as well. Not long after one went for $8000+ and the rest have just gone for more and more ever since.

Wtf are you talking about . Luka stuff is going to maintain at minimum as long as he’s out and then keep going up if he keeps playing well
