Typically a week after in the past. However, the package delivered to the facility is pretty quick.

How do you submit a bulk submission with mixed sports and TCG to fulfill the 25 card requirement? I am playing around on the site and it keeps taking me to different order forms for sports and TCG.

You can't do this yet, but it is on the horizon.

From the forums, "Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot combine non-sports trading card submissions with sports card submissions. The cards are still processed via separate internal systems and currently, we cannot tie the different submission types together. However, we are moving toward unifying this process into a single order form in the near future."

Thanks. Guess I will be delaying my order for now. I thought I had read that people were able to mix sports and TCG. That would be really nice to be able to do that, or if they lowered the minimum quantity for bulk until they can combine the two.

I think it matters how you shipped to them. If it is USPS to their PO box that seems to be slower than if you do UPS/FedEx direct to them. They received my UPS shipment last Tuesday and the order came up in my account On Wednesday. As of yesterday it was already in the Grading phase.

I have a reholder submission that they picked up from USPS on the 15th that still is not showing.

I received a submission back on Monday that still shows as "Quality Control / Finalized". I sent customer service a message as the certification numbers can't be verified.

CGC posted that they now have every card type in the pop report, and the sports pop report stays last updated 8/24/23. Does that mean they are fully updated? Or are they just adding newly graded daily and still working on migration for older stuff?

Post in there message board indicated that the full migration/integration of sports and tcg has been moved to mid September. So I don't know. The question was more about having one submission form not necessarily about the pop report/databases.

From what I can tell, the sports cards were not combined yet. I think they must have meant that they added in the new non-sports cards they are now grading. A couple of Star Wars cards that I have now have pop report data when they didn't before...

Don't forget about Vee Friends LOL (I don't collect or get it) as it seems they are a new addition to the pop report as well. I loved the CGC merger and the company's message back at the end of June, but I feel like they have somewhat botched things since like still not being able to do a TCG + sport cards submission 2 months later....

I think the submission form and the pop report/database are tied together. If you want to check your sports card registry, chat boards, etc... you still need to go to csgcards.com. One submission form will happen the same time you can check your sports card registry and pop report on CGC's main website.

they said early on you can just cant do it as one order ... still the cards could be together to hit bulk.

So unless it errors out at like 12 sports card at bulk rate then dont worry, just throw in 13 of the other.

I havent done it like this, but they stressed that many times over when all the announcements were happening. Maybe just contact them if you really wanna hear it from them fyi

Yeah my Bulk order went from Received -> QC/Finalized within 6 business days. How long did QC/Finalized take for your sub?

Yeah they seem to be marketing the wrong stuff if they are consistently processing orders so quickly. I thought they would be swamped after the national and expected turnaround times to go up significantly.

I saw QC/Finalized on Wednesday and then yesterday I saw the Shipped status and the report containing the grades. You should get an email with the attached PDF report.

My bulk from July 6th still hasnt popped/shipped

I contacted CS, they said they were awaiting more supplies and if i read correct were receiving those this past Friday.

I sent in a bunch of diff size thick cards, so I'm guessing that was the hold up compared to everyone else having lightning fast speeds on orders. *Shrug*

So weird my bulk order that I shipped out via UPS on 08/11 and I received my FedEx shipment back yesterday (08/27). My 38-card sub order was a mixture of standard size and super thick cards. That turnaround time was crazy.

I will note that I have a re-holder order that I shipped at the same time and it still has a status of just Received.

Congrats on the pristine. I am not a fan of the big 10 stamp. If I ever get lucky enough to get a pristine, I would probably look to swap for a "regular" 10. I do the same thing with SGC (even though they don't hand those out anymore it seems). SGC label just look off with the pristine.

Agreed on grading standards shift to be more stringent. I’ve observed that as well on several orders that have been returned over the last couple of weeks.

Can anybody else getting cards back add more data points. If this is true, maybe they felt like a over corrected when changing grading scale? Or, more likely, they have taken the PSA approach to consistency. Ha!!

I think I have come to the conclusion that CGC has great holders, will keep updating services to stay current, great price point, BUT not that good of graders as PSA or SGC. A tradeoff you need to live with when sending to CGC.

Actually I should take back what I said - most of the cards I feel like were graded consistently with what I've seen from them in the past. I was just surprised by a few that came in much lower than I thought (3 out of a submission of 52). The biggest question from me was on this one:


Now I don't expect a 10 every time, but I didn't see anything on it that would make me think it wasn't at least a 9. I don't have the cards back in hand yet, but once I get them I'll definitely be reviewing that one and a couple others.
