Agreed. These are artist interpretations of the card. And then I'll take notes of the cards that cause the most hyper-karening so I can make sure I get my "F You" set correct.

That would be amazing. Then again, people seemed to really like the JK5 Gibson, which was the first card to really inject a lot of color and distance itself from the set. I could see the faced Fucci becoming the fan favorite and then I'd have to grab the other 19 as the F You versions

I like that the artists have seen each other's work and gotten feedback on how the released cards have been received and used that to inform their work.

I also like the interaction between artist and the public generally.

But the interview with Thiele made me feel like artists can become too self-aware and try too hard to 'push things' and lose their way.

Ermsy did all his cards prior to the start and, as far as I know, hasn't made any modifications or abandoned any early versions and seems to be holding his own.

(This post is really just me being worried that Thiele is going to redo his Mariano Rivera.)

I do not like the Yankess, Rivera has broken my heart multiple times, and yet that image makes me feel a fondness for him. I think that's a good thing? Hard to tell if it really is or not given that I spent the rest of my life disliking him (the Yankee). It would definitely be my vote for best Rivera if that ends up being the card.

Another reason why I started buying with you. I just picked up a Jeter before the deadline. It'd be cool for you to random off that jersey, gold or 30x40 print. Good luck with those.

Yes, it would be very cool to do that, and I truly hope I'm able to. It would give me much joy to turn right around and ship one of those items out to a customer.

Think about your chances of getting it if I end up with one...I'll only random it to people that bought that particular card, and only those that bought from my site. Odds would be pretty good!

EDIT: Bundles and 10-packs with that particular card would be included as well, to be clear.

FWIW I plan on ordering some non-delivered cards I need to complete sets that I passed on during the drop. While you're no longer the most economical for them, you see to be extremely dependable, which is worth a premium in my book.
