Yeah it’s tricky to compare raw to graded. The raw today was a crazy price but it was a nice card and the buyer is obviously paying as if it will gem. The 9 will forever be a 9 (and there’s nothing wrong with that!). That just shows the premium the market is paying for 10’s (or something someone thinks will gem).

At this rate, his Select PSA 10 is severely undervalued.

Yeah I feel like that's the trend... his Prizm PSA 10 shoots up, then his Select PSA 10 creeps up to about half the Prizm. Not a bad card, especially because Optic didn't exist back then

So wild. I have 2 left, if they win and it hits 10k I’m probably cashing one out. And that would mean in 12 months it went from $500 to $10,000

If the base is $6700, what is the guess for the next Silver auction for PWCC or Probstein? $35-40k? This sounds crazy, but that would seem underpriced given everything is up crazy, and these are very rarely available.

Anyone know what the estimated print run is on the Giannis Select silver RC's?

Like, I get that everything is a multiplier of this and that. But how many people are even able to spend that much money on a card? As much money as I spend on cards, I can’t imagine dropping that much on a Prizm. Once you hit 5 digits I’m out, there’s too much “real life” stuff I can do with that money Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have 10 Giannis Select RCs. I've never sent to PSA before, how much do you think it would cost me to send all 10? Also would send a select silver draft selections.

It's probably going to cost north of $1,000. I think it's about $100 to grade something $1000-$2499.... At the rate things are going... They might be out of that tier by the time they are done. If Prizm are going to continue to be $6500... Select will easily cross $2500 in the near future.

You might be out, but you do realize the ridiculous numbers cards are going for now. People just need to move a few Lebrons, Lukas, a few Trouts...and boom they are there. Not to mention all the wealthy coming into the hobby now. I totally get what you are saying, but now the money being spent is crazy. For the high end, I can’t even sniff auctions now like I used to. It’s pointless to try. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by seabass97166; 08-03-2020 at 08:25 AM. |

The PSA 9 sale was good. I don’t think a min gem BGS sells for much more than a PSA 9 though. It’s just the way it is now. I’d love to see what a PSA 10 went for at auction. Last one sold BIN for $6k at the end of May.

I’d probably submit at the $50 level and make them upcharge to $75. Just look them all over and only send in the ones you think have a good chance to gem. Just selling one would cover the cost of grading the whole lot. Last edited by BRob1; 08-03-2020 at 10:29 AM. |
